Tim - one of the best ways to teach kids at this age is to do things at the same time. So in this case, set up paper for yourself and paper for him, then show him what you're doing and he will mimic you. Much easier, though you did a great job!

What a great episode. When we went on a Disney Cruise with toddlers we requested a crib/pack n' play, a diaper genie, and a bottle warmer (for night time). We would also get some juice and milk from the breakfast buffet to keep in our room so if our boys were thirsty we had it right on hand. Being that we were coming from Canada we ordered diapers and wipes and had them delivered to the ship.

Cruising with a toddler is so fun! Your room is always close by for a nap or a change, he can be entertained just simply walking around and exploring the boat, Disney boats have a fun splash area for littles, the waiters and waitresses are amazing with the kids and make meals out fun. Now that’s how you do Mother’s Day! Awesome job Tim 🙂 also he doesn’t need a passport just his birth certificate. We took our daughter when she was 2-3. We put her in the small world nursery to do a drink tasting or brunch and it’s a must so you have a break for a bit. They are so wonderful with the kids. It’s a lot of fun, they have a pac n play they leave in your room we put by the couch. Probably the hardest part is the day you leave is to try and get that nap in before mustard call. She was exhausted and not a happy camper during that.

I look my son on his 1st cruse when he was 3. We did 14 nights western Caribbean, we had a fantastic time. This year shortly after he turns 9 we are booked on a UK staycation on the Disney Magic, this will keep us going until we can safely returned to WDW.

Happy Morher’s Day! The It’s a Small World nursery is good through age 3 and they still have lots of activities for the older toddlers. You can reserve up to 10 hours of nursery time in advance but you can also reserve more time on the ship. They were great with our daughter when we went last year. Enjoy!
