Okay so I love how genuine Charles’ reaction started in the video when he saw the surprise outside in the backyard, it was so sweet. He even said at one point “honestly this is probably the best birthday I’ve ever had” and then things took a slight turn at the very end and he changed his mind and said “honestly this is one of my better birthdays, this is not THE best birthday I’ve ever ha…” Idk that ending kinda made me sad. I love that he is super real and honest but I mean after all the effort Alyssa put in, I feel like that’s just something you keep in your head and don’t say out loud. I've been with my husband for 7 years. We have never been able to celebrate it. I couldn't imagine being able to surprise him like this. Weird thing his birthday was on the 27th. I of course made a cake ,but thats all I've ever been able to do because we have 2 young kids and are forced to live on one income.
