Technically, babies at a certain time after birth are too unaware of so much that they don’t know why they would need to act a certain way. So many don’t cry or freak out until they're able to realize what it means to have your own space and that you don't like it being impeded on. Some are definitely naturally skiddish, but for the most part, that age is simply to young for her to care lol. My son is 2 now, and all of a sudden, that lil boy is aware of EVERYTHING. We used to be able to go to his doctor's appointments, and he was perfectly fine. Now, he can’t stand them poking and prodding him.

She knows her family. My daughter was terrified of strangers and would scream if one picked her up. The first time she met my mom, she looked at her and didn't cry when my mom took her from me. We were all amazed.

Because sometimes its not safe for the family to live together.. Sometimes you have to think about whats best for you, so you have the strength to help the familymember. Fx. my grandma she was very very hard hit with alzheimers.. she totally changed... And became angry at people, and sometimes doing things that wasnt safe... like turning on the coffemaker, without putting water on, or turned on the oven and forgetting to turn it off.. You cant be around that kind of person 24/7 but if you wants to live with them, you have to. Because they become like a little child.. doing things they shouldnt.

Maybe there are social and cultural systems in place where you live to make that doable, but a lot of nations function in a way that makes it impossible. They do not value the elderly and they only value anyone else for how much profit they can turn. If you think it's such a good thing, LEARN from what people say and SUPPORT their ability to do the thing you think is best. Start her on phonics early and speak full sentences to her... i was shocked to see her looking up at your hair each time you mentioned your edges... coukd have been a coincidence but I dont think so because she showed a great deal of understanding when grandma and greatgrandma and the rest of the family surrounded her. I'm weeping with you guys. So beautiful. I'm a mother and grandmother. I was with my daughter throughout her pregnancies and in the delivery room. I can't imagine being away from her for a year while she's pregnant. I would've done just what your mother did the first time she saw her granddaughter. I know your mother is very proud of you. You're a strong, determined woman which is what she always wanted for you. Alex is a gem. So sweet and supportive. Aura looks so happy and comfortable around her peeps

You can tell how much they've been longing to see this sweet little baby (who by the way seemed to know instinctively that these were her people, she wasn't scared, didn't cry...) ❤The grandma didn't even hug her daughter, just took her grandchild 😂😂😂😂 and never wanted to let anyone else carry the baby 😂😂❤ And yes, I think Grandma and baby look pretty much alike 😊 I love seeing these 4 generations at once, reminds me on my folks. My grand parents have lots, LOTS of grandchildren and lots of great-grandchildren now, always something special 💞💞💗💗💓💓🩷💕💕💞
