Thats the experience with college. You make new friends each semester and you get to see which ones are your true friends and some that are acquaintances. As long as you do great in school and have fun experiencing college life is all that matters.

I also went through the exact same thing i kept trying to force a connection with as many people as possible until i realized it wasn't working and decided to nurture relationships with the people i actually felt real connections with and it's so much more worth it!! 🥹 one of the friendships I nurtured she's now my best friend and the closest friend I've ever had, and honestly if all my friends left except her I'd still be able to be content. so yeah finding the real ones is a great goal 🥹 26. Anyway i just wanna say Andrew there's such a clear and positive change in your demeanor that i can feel indicates to a big improvement somewhere internally and it's making me feel so at peace and hopeful?? im not wording this right i literally just woke up but i can feel the happiness through the screen 🥹 like there's so much growth!! you're still exactly the same like you're still YOU but there's GROWTH and it's so wonderful to see!! i feel so honored being able to witness it 🥹 anyway if it isn't obvious i really liked this video, see you in the next one my dude!!! I just graduated this winter and watching this video brought back so many memories. I remember my first semesters going by so fast, my best advice is enjoy every single moment! You’ll meet great people as time goes by and they will become part of the “family you choose”. Find your balance to have fun and study!

Hobbies! Specially those that involve being outside or having to go somewhere. I took up dancing, tennis and photography, i don’t necessarily have a good skill for any of the 3 but at some point I realized that all my “hobbies” involved being in my room which wasn’t great for my mental health. It’s ok feel sad, lonely and even lost at times but remember that theres family that loves you and your friends that are probably going through similar feelings. A constant thing in life is that we can always learn new things and from that we grow, try not to get to caught up in your own head, I know it’s hard but there’s still so much out there.

Unlike you, I didn’t prioritize meeting friends in college. I lived at home and commuted to campus, so it wasn’t as easy to make connections or be part of campus life. HOWEVER, I met one friend my first year of college and we’re best friends still to this day, 13 years later! I think you’ll continue to meet people and hang with people. And maybe between those you currently know and those you’ll meet, you’ll make a life time friend! 😊
