I used to live in Gulf Breeze which was like 30 ish mins to the west of Destin. I've lived in Kentucky since 2016 & I absolutely miss the beach so much. I grew up going to Pensacola Beach basically every other day or whenever I'm off work. I definitely miss the white sand! The next time you guys go & take Manny with you, take him to the beach at night and quickly drag your feet or hand at the surface of the sand right after a wave comes in and goes back.....it'll sparkle and light up because of the phosphorus... at least that's what I've been told 😂 it reminds me of Avatar (not the last airbender but with the blue people lol) but I LOVED doing that if I was ever at the beach at night. Your private beach would be perfect because it looks like it's not busy, therefore not so much artificial light. I'm so happy Manny got to experience Destin and the Emerald beaches and white sands and especially them crab clawwwss! 🦀 ❤❤
