@@girlfullofsorrow because bleached blonde or blonde balayage is so rare and unique 🙄 It's just about what color and shade suit every person. For some people, due to their coloring (skin, eyes) and also maybe other features and how strong or soft they are (stronger shadows on the face etc.), darker colors or more contrast can complement them better and show their freshness. On Demi for example, blonde looks dull as hell but brunette is gorgeous.

I’ve always understood the differences when lorry discusses them. But I can understand how others are unable if they are not use to looking at cosmetic procedures. I grew up looking at real self and other platforms that showed regular peoples plastic surgery and cosmetic work and it really shows how subtle things can be, and how anyone can get it done. It has helped a ton for my self esteem as I use to compare myself to everyone/everything as a very young girl. Now I just try to make myself my best self.

I've been a fan of Demi for like 15 years and hadn't noticed all of these subtle changes until they were pointed out. Comparing her childhood photos to her now, those subtle changes add up to a noticeably different appearance. She's one of the most vulnerable celebrities and I really admire and respect her.

OMG same here!! I was about to say the same thing! 😭😭 I’ve been a 17-year fan of Demi, and I’m actually surprised that I never noticed ANY of these changes. The fact that they were VERY subtle never crossed my mind that she ever had any work done. Not that I would be in denial if I noticed something different, but I always thought she was a natural beauty. Now, looking at this video, I do see the slight changes when it’s being compared side by side. It’s pretty crazy that I never noticed it all these years of fanning her. 😭 I mean, I know she matured and grew up. Whatever she got done-she did it in a subtle manner to not make it so obvious and just went about her day. These changes don’t change my love for her as I always loved her no matter what size she is, and she still is beautiful before and after ps. Although I do wish to see how she would have turned out naturally without these procedures bc I already thought she was so beautiful from a young age.

Most if any cosmetic surgery was done after her days at Disney. A few may have been done while at Disney, in particular the teeth. A story about her suggests that she was pressured by agents and stylists to look a certain way &,even sing certain types of music when she became a solo star. This often happens in the music and acting industry especially to women.

Thank you Lorry for doing this analysis, I had definitely noticed some changes but couldn't put my finger on exactly what, other than the obvious lip filler. Disney has so much to answer for in the case of Demi. Would she/they (I'm using both because Demi uses both) have had this much surgery or done the surgeries when they were done if not for the Disney machine? I don't think so. The Disney environment is also a huge contributor to her/their ED and substance abuse. I just hope Demi is happier and healthier now, she/they were gorgeous either way.

As far as I know the initial reason behind the lip filler was that her smile became uneven after the strokes she suffered when she overdosed. I can’t cite any source for this though. I also remember it was very soon after her OD that she got lip filler for the first time, so it makes sense. Seeing how she increased the amount of filler, I’m guessing she likes the look, so that’s good. I don’t mind the rhinoplasty honestly, didn’t know she had it done and I always thought her nose was very elegant. It was a good job done, very slight but flattering. I would never notice the eyelid surgery myself, I think her real eyelids were a classy look on her so it’s kind of a shame. The under eye filler also somewhat unnecessary but I get it. I’m not super convinced about her lower jaw, though I can kind of see it. It might also explain why she looks like she got buccal fat removal only recently even though she always had very minimal buccal fat. Muscle loss makes more sense. I disagree about the breast implant, the 2015 pic isn’t suitable for comparison due to lightings being very different and her one arm being raised. 2014 pic is from a red carpet and the other ones are mostly her insta selfies and of course they look fuller on her selfies. Breast lift perhaps? Also, her boobs did get bigger after 2017. She even made a post saying she finally got her dream boobs thanks to better relationship with food lol. She is also 31 now, so that might be it too. I always thought she had an ethereal beauty due to her features being very bold and defined and yet super elegant and harmonious. Her face just works even though some of her features by themselves are generally considered to be unattractive. It’s all very unique. I remember being 10 and absolutely mesmerized by her here www.google.com.tr/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fcelebmafia.com%2Fdemi-lovato-soundcheck-for-yan-beatfest-in-vietnam-317085%2F&psig=AOvVaw0xtdzd-lEk7pOS64vd8J6J&ust=1705439689318000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CBEQjRxqFwoTCMCcpJyp4IMDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAP this is another one I find hard to forget www.google.com.tr/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fhollywoodlife.com%2F2016%2F03%2F17%2Fdemi-lovato-burgundy-makeup-eyeshadow-lipstick-instagram-2016%2F&psig=AOvVaw2YBcvEeKUsWbzg1tIw7y-3&ust=1705439815790000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CBEQjRxqFwoTCMDA1dup4IMDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAD

Hey, Lorry! I think it would be very interesting if you made videos about the social pressure amongst drag queens to get plastic surgery and changes that some of the most famous have undergone!
@sianmilne487911 ай бұрын
Second this! The phenomenon of (cis) drag queens getting plastic surgery is so odd to me since heavy makeup and padding are very acceptable in that industry of course
@Layla-hb8mq11 ай бұрын
Yes this would be a very interesting take on the subculture of drag. There has been prominent plastic surgery going on in the industry for awhile. Amazingly, the trailblazer RuPaul has had very little enhancement.

@@kristagrym If you watch RuPauls Drag Race you'll see lots of facial and body enhancements from plastic surgery.

I honestly think she was so beautiful before her features just fit so well altogether. Her face doesn’t have the same feeling anymore to be honest. I never noticed until this video’

She was so beautiful naturally. I wish i had her original lip shape and dimensions

I totally see the changes you are talking about in each case. I think the people who don't see the changes are fans of said celebrity who want to believe in the fantasy that their idols are perfect from birth. What I don't understand is why more upper lid reveal is important and why hooded eyes can't just be? Who decided this or when was this decided?

I actually liked her previous eyes and lips, her newest ones make her look a little different.

Demi was absolutely beautiful and didn't need any surgery at all! It's ridiculous to give someone a nose job when there's nothing wrong to being with! 🤦♀️ Moving the eyes closer to her nose!?!? Why? I like her original lips, too! And she had a beautiful heart shaped face that's now shaved down. Totally unnecessary!!! Everyone in HW is going to eventually look the same!!!

Her natural nose suited her so well 😭 I really don’t see an improvement

Is there anyone in Hollywood whose nose is deemed to be good enough naturally? If there isn't, maybe people need to rethink what noses should look like, if NO ONE'S nose is acceptable.
