After hearing my story they decided to send over a few gokarts so he could race his friends and asked nothing in return. I think it’s amazing that Walmart wanted my son to have a nice Christmas and hooked him up.
I wanted to record the experience of surprising him for Walmart and all of you to see. He was so light up and focused it blew out minds. He’s come so far with all his therapy when it comes to showing emotions.

I usually don't care much for videos with kids, but this one was just awesome. You're definitely raising Xander right. And he's obviously extremely happy. I never had a cart like this but there are tapes of me on a holiday riding on a tiny track with little plastic cars and motorbikes. All the kids are looking at their parents and crashing and I'm sitting there, focused on the track as if I was going more than 2 mph. Thank you for reminding me of these fond memories.

So great that Walmart (we call it ASDA) reached out. The look on your lads face, priceless. You have so much space over in the USA, really brings home how crammed we are in the UK. I immediately wondered how fast it could go but I remember getting to drive a moped as a kid and being terrified. You have to limit the speed so that the kid still feels in control. But I can definitely see Barnacules modding the shit out of it as Xander grows up. In like 5 years that thing will overtake you on the highway :D

Look at that kid go. That's just awesome! :) I had one of those pedal ones when i was a kid, and then when i was probably about Xanders age, my dad put a lawnmower petrol engine on it, and i absolutely loved that thing! He kept on extending the frame, as i grew taller pretty fast, pretty early, but by the end it just would carry me anymore, as it was all rusted out, and the drive train became worn out. But those are some really good memories! :)

You should install one of those flopping LED attenna things they put on sand buggies so that other people can see them and not run into them. This way cars will see Xander riding around ahead of time. I see a future Jerry Rigged episode in the making. Merry Xmas. :)
