Always let an AC sit for 2 hours if you turn it on its sides or upside down . It could ruin the Compressor. Liquid Freon in the Compressor is no bueno.

About a month and a half ago the day it hit 100°. I had turned off the air conditioner the night before because it was 60 outside. Anyways it was 90 plus in my room until the sun went down and then It finally got enough stuff. Moved to get to the unit and well let's just say the evap core was covered with about 1/8 in of crap. Got that cleaned off with a steam cleaner. Just happened to have one close by and yeah about 20 minutes after plugging it back in it started working. Really good. The next day it was hundred again and it struggled. But when I got home I grabbed the hose and hosed off the condenser from the outside. I don't know if that did anything at all other than put enough water into the unit to allow the condenser fan to pick it up. And blow it through the condenser and the thing caught up nicely. It's a second story unit so I was spraying from the ground without a nozzle, since then I haven't shut it off and it does just fine on 100° days. The unit is 15 years old and that was its first bath.

I think with that AC soft start - you would probably actually install it inside the AC in line with the pump; tho I could be wrong.

Wouldn't putting that big 'ol capacitor on the PSU blow the over current protection the moment you turn it on?

@Auxx Zillary you should watch the video, because it's not about power limit on game-servers it's about that Intel CPUs crashing regardless on W680 boards. Specualation is, that this is a design flaw with the CPU itself, not a power problem per se. Too much power could increase and accelerate the problem.

My daughters LG air conditioner, after being cleaned by a technician recently, started to work differently after he left, e.g. when I turned on the inside unit, the fan blows at full capacity and then the inside unit shuts down. The outside motor (compressor) doesn't kick in at all when this is happening, and then the inside unit that is blowing the fan at full speed shuts off within a minute. I rang the technician and he said that he was willing to come back to have a look at it and of course take my left arm for the problem he caused in my opinion, because it was working fine before he pulled it apart to clean it, so I told him to FO in the nicest possible way. I am not in anyway a technical kind of guy, but I think I can change the capacitor by myself, if that is what it is. I would appreciate any assistance that anyone reading this can provide me with, e.g. do you think it is anything else apart from the capacitor. The outside motor (compressor) kicks in after about half a dozen attempts at turning it on and off, when the inside unit was blowing air at full speed, so it sounds to me like it is the capacitor, as that is what gives the compressor that extra kick from videos that I have seen. Appreciate all assistance in advance.

Btw this method still works, but needs an extra step now. If you try and get it straight from the MS store, it tells you that "it's not compatible with your device", or something along those lines.
