Now you know how to thread a needle, would you like to know more about the various types of needle? Check out my video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2LWhKONga-kbKc

Thank you for that. It's all much clearer now. Two small things to hopefully make you smile about needles. Mum always wondered how this supposedly right handed child threaded, eventually, a needle left handed. Still not learnt to do it right handed! And ..... plain hemming, at my in laws I was happily hemming a very long skirt hem. Got as far as I could right handed, so promptly moved the needle to my left and carried on hemming. Poor Mother in Law blinked, looked twice and asked, " Did you just do that? " "Do what?" I replied. I had no idea I did that, apparently I still do and its perfectly natural!

I love your content! This really works! I learned this method as a young boy many, many years ago when I was taught how to weave in the ends of yarn on my crochet projects. It has served me well through the years for every gauge, from the bulkiest of yarns to to the very finest of needlework threads. Though there is some obvious flexibility with applications of different types of needles, it is important to note, especially for beginners, that failure to use the proper needle for the task can mean the difference between success and failure, and could possibly explain any undue difficulty experienced when using this method.
