The beast ping worked the way it was supposed to. Beast had resist from Cog but took the one damage for cog since cogs doesn’t have resist.

Love the caterpillar tech. I've been thinking about it as well. I also wanted to try duke weasleton as another tech choice because he quests for 2 and has ward so he's not bad after the board wipe

If you're going for a wide, low to the ground strat then Weasleton is great, but since Noi is also blue with the same stat line but with the upside of resist 1 she's definitely the character to pick first. Yeah, you need an item in play, but if you're already running blue, you're probably running the item card draw combo with Hiram. Nothing like a low to the ground item deck that goes wide and draws a million cards

@@WintersLorcana ya definitely noi first and then weasleton as a second option id what I'm thinking. Trying to play on a bit of a budget so I can't really afford the dragons and Hades so going wide works better for me. Thanks for the video !

Instead of milling the opponent you could opt for quick and heavy questing by adding 4 copies of Eye of the Fates

You need to add Launch. Super underrated card for adding a bit of removal in this deck. Can take out many things and keep you moving forward. 2 of is fine because if you start your engine you are likely to draw it.

You're probably right, the big thing is the uninkable part though. I'd run so many wonderful cards, but then I'd only have a deck that can't be played xD

Considering the whole point of this deck is to keep card advantage, her effect just seems counter intuitive. It’s a decent fail safe but is that really worth taking up the deck slots for?

Fyi, resist and beast selfless protector do not work together.

Actually, they do. In one of my games Cogsworth, who doesn't have resist, gives resist to Beast. When Cogsworth took that 1 point of damage Beast stepped in to take it instead, but then because of resist he actually took no damage at all. It was beautiful

​I think that was just a bug in Pixelborn. The wording on beast says to place "Damage counters" which ignores damage midigation on beast himself, its covered in the FAQ under the card in the app. @WintersLorcana

According to the official ruling its supposed to wirke like this: Wehnever demage is done to other characters with reisist while beast is on Board damage will be calculated as usual and then placed on beast. The effect on beast sais that the "damage markers are placed" on beast instead so beast is not effected by reisist when usong this effect. However when beast has reisist due to cogsworth and is atacked reisist will apply as usual. Also fun fact when you have 6 characters on Board and yoir opponent plays "grab your sword" beast will "take" 12 dmg, die and the rest of the board will be uneffected.
