while this thing is interesting ill stick w my 450 sumo. i couldnt imagine its gonna be easy getting parts for these if something breaks. the range doesnt seem to be very good neither. i wonder if you can put a set of pedals on this thing like they do on surrons.

I think that if you upgrade the controller and go to a 96v battery that thing would be an animal. It already claims 12.5KW with 96v you probably looking at 15 to 16kw easy in rocket mode, 12.5 in rabbit, and 8.5 in tortoise. You most likely could then play with chain wheel sizes to get a bit more topend speed out of it; more in the realm of 65mph vs. 45mph. If it is using actual motorcycle triple clamps the ability to customize the suspension for more MX style riding shouldn't be too far fetched either. Could be quite the beastie a bit of an MX track day sleeper. Is it worth spending that much to build is the question? Probably have close to 11k in it by then but it would still be out performing a 12k Surron and be a feather weight compared to the likes of an Alta or Varg.

RFN Ares Rally Pro's top speed is 45 mph. It killed SurRon in pricing of 6 grand and almost 50 pound heavier than a Sur ron. lol

Because in sand you should be back over the rear wheel. The rear was too light, so it was spinning and front too heavy, so it was nosediving.

Riding in a giant ash tray isn't helping anyone realize the performance of the bike. Just rip it on some grass and hard packed trails. Your wide-angle is already taking away speed and this footage looks like your crawling. Certainly NOT bringing Surron pilots over fer sure.

Really don't understand this niche market when compared to the gas equivalent(aka mini or kids dirtbikes when it comes to price) still can't ride it on the street, as anything other than a bicycle. More and more electronic non pedaling bikes are being banned in more and more places, or limited by speed(which WILL eventually integrate into the controllers). I'm not saying they aren't cool af, and I wouldn't rip the snot out of one... But. As a recreational vehicle, commuter, off roader, it's outperformed by many... Curious what was put into ur worlds fastest surron(on top of MSRP). With the equal cost put on a equivalent base cost(MSRP) gasser, what the top speeds would be. Performed how quickly together, how many times before the gas motor ran out of gas, VS the electrics fully charged, to the point of not being able to keep up with competition (which we saw in Ruddy's old video)

bikes have been around for 100 years. They've evolved to a point where technology prevents progress. With electrics, the batteries are the real limiting factor. These bikes can make more power than gassers easily with better batteries on the way. They are silent, clean, lightweight, and far easier to maintain. Those are the benefits, not all out speed or power. Even though they are able to go faster and have more power. My SurRon is making over 20whp and weighs 100 lbs. that power to weight ratio is better than most gasser bikes on the market. Total cost around 7k. Brand new.
