I love how Surron watches what the customer does and starts making what we REALLY want in a bike. More power,more range with high quality!! We buy bikes and transform them into a powerhouse machine with aftermarket parts. It would be nice to just buy a factory bike that doesn't need any changes!

I would still buy aftermarket controller if this one does not have an app. It's all about the tuning which can be done

@@cyclenews Sad news, means us considering an ultra will have to pay more. Paying for two controllers and motors. Win win if you could order the bike with it already. Cheaper for the consumer and surron sells a more expensive bike

@@Bengy22 to run anything over like 19kw you'll need an aftermarket battery also. This will be good if it's a cheaper kit than buying it elsewhere.

It's un upgraded motor and controller for the ultra bee from surron. If I understand right you still need a aftermarket battery to do anything over 19kw

So just to be clear, @kokiwang6996 , this kit will include upgraded battery, motor and controller? Does Surron plan to ship new bikes with the kit installed as an option? Would buy today if it shipped in the bike. And do you plan to ship bikes with 21/18 wheel option? So many extra wheels and tires taking up garage space. Huge Ultra Bee fan, thanks!

This could be the affordable stark varg. So happy surron released this because the hyper bee was a little underwhelming. Maybe next will be ultra bee power train on lbx , which would be dope

This is still a mid-size motorcycle where the Stark is a full-size machine meant to go up against other "dirt bikes"

That doesn't look like a sb motor or battery. It's just the equivalent power. I used a Torp controller which is better because of the app.

Getting power out of these things is the easy part, I'm sure Surrons kit will be good, & maybe lot more affordable than the usual suspects. What holds a bike like the UB back for serious off road is its wheelbase, it just an awfully short lever. I have a UB with a high end shock & reworked forks, it's great up to a point, but always feels like the rear wheel is directly under one's butt .. that's because IT IS. Full size dirt bike = 58 or 59" wheelbase, UB = 53" wheelbase , it's half a foot shorter ! No amount of upgraded suspension overcomes that kind of frame geometry over rough terrain. C'mon Surron, give us the whole package, you already make a diminutive model in the form of the light bee. It'll be quite interesting to see how the Dust bike does this weekend @ TKO with its 56"-ish wheelbase. I guess they're racing it for the 1st time there.

Does it have 18/21 wheels as well? It's the same 104V55aH battery as the storm?

This model had aftermarket wheels. Believe stock is 19/19

Looks like it's the stock battery in this video 74v55ah. I think you get the motor and controller with this kit but still need to buy a battery elsewhere to pull more than 19kw

Literally the ONLY thing keeping me from buying a Surron is Koki Wang. She's awful, I'm buying a Talaria Dragon instead.
