I was wondering how yall did when those tornados were in the area. One thing I can tell you before a tornado touches down it will be the calm and quiet warning. Worst one I was in was 1999 in Moore ok. It was a Monday, my dad took me out of school early to ride a dirtbike track down in Norman. it was hot outside, the temp dropped 20 degrees… the silence of the birds let my dad know it was about to get real bad real fast. We drove up north but the hail was pelting us, we turned around and headed 35 south away from it after the radio was giving us a play by play. A few hours later on the way back home to okc you could see slabs and empty streets where neighborhoods and businesses used to be. I won’t play with lightning or tornadoes.

I was fishing a FLW at Seminole years ago. I was running way up the hooch . When I came back down and hit the lake it was like the twilight zone. There was 5’ -6’ ers breaking back up the river. We were like what the hell. It got so bad I ran the boat up on the back in the back side of an island. When I got to the meeting it was a tornado that went over us. It tore up Bainbridge and surrounding areas.

We were crappie fishing in middle March and they were biting crazy before the storm
