It is an amazing tool but it is going to have an extremely detrimental effect on wild, native fisheries all over the world. State Fishery departments will eventually have to either reign it in soon or drastically reduce bag limits. This isn’t just about bass, but it’s about stripers, snook, redfish, crappie, marlin, etc etc etc. It will have to be regulated.

You ever get the chance. May I'd a phenomenal time on kentucky lake. Buchanan resort area is amazing and ton of fish. I can catch a 20+ bag from the bank till bout mid June. Then it's offshore points and ledges

Every day is different every tournament is different. Just keep ya head up and sometimes ya just gotta go way out the comfort zone and try something ya don't normally do. At the end if the day ya did what ya could and move on.

DC I am a fan for sure. But I am losing interest in watching pro tournaments due to forward facing electronics. You see from my point of view to be able become a top pro now all you need is deep pockets. Just look you have guys under 20 years old winning major tournaments. Why because their daddies bought them 150,000 dollar fishing boats and equipment. In my day you could win a tournament in a Jon boat, I actually won many top state tournaments fishing out of a canoe with my dog a springer spaniel in the front of the canoe. She would put her front pawls on the front floatation in the very front and look out into a cove. She would see fish and when she did her ears would roll forward. And I would cast a Mann's jelly worm, purple of course and catch them. So you see she was my forward facing sonar, lol. In fact members of my bass club all had bass boats with sonar, temperature, raised front decks, electric motors etc. and guess what, they held a secret meeting and decided to tell me I could not fish with Mariah in the canoe, that is my dogs name. I said if I fished she was going to be with me. They claimed I had a unfair advantage, I mean I had a dog and a paddle against them and their loaded bass boats. So I left the club. Those were the days when a man knew how to fish without equipment making a difference. It was fun watching the tournaments and the men fishing different methods and using various baits. Now all we see is a guy standing in the front of the boat with two or three large screen electronics and starring at them until a fish is found and then cast to it. That is not entertaining in anyway shape or form. Well I do wish you the best, because I know you can fish with the good ole boys and still win . Stay safe.

I use a 3/16 vmc hybrid swimbait. I've used my freeloader now on 6 bass caught and 4 missed. Several trees few rocks which straitened the hook. It's tore around the hook but it still hold strait. Awesome combo
