Man I’m blown away Dr. Bantu!!! I visited Rome before the pandemic and was inspired at being somewhere where they can trace their history back thousands of years. I’m inspired to know that we black Christians can do the same. The bisrat doesn’t strip us of our culture, as a matter of fact it repurposes it for the glory of Tilla.

I went to Sudan in 2018 on vacation and I was shocked at that time because I had never heard any of this Church history. Some of these Christian sites are still in existence and the National Museum in Khartoum has an entire floor dedicated to Christian ruins/history in Nubia. Thanks for helping broaden the perspective of the US church.

Hail brother Bisrat The way you've pointed out how the church in Axum develops Was great I'm sure you've heard of the Rastafari Protest Movement of Jamaica Now I'm a person of Jamaican parentage Born however in England I got to Christianity via the Ethiopian Tewahedo Othodox Church in the 70s But now I'm not so much in the church in fact majority of youths who really identify with the Rastas I am one of them So I call myself a Yesus Dread To negotiate my way through such a movement But hearing you talk of Ethiopia in such ways, my contentions real Blessed thou Brother keep up the work You may see a book of a " testament " Till such time Peace and love

I understand the exuberant sentiment but let's remember with great knowledge needs to come great humility and love. I have never argued or beat a Muslim, atheist, Hebrew Israelite or other non believer into submission but I have sown seeds into their lives by loving them and humbly walking through life in a way they can't argue against.

I'm not a Biblical Scholar but Christ said, " For God is Spirit , so those that worship him must worship in Spirit and in truth" John 4:24 We're caught up in Religion and the Western Interpenetration of the Scriptures. And technically The Black Church has put our people to sleep, instead of waking them up. I don't tell other Brothers & Sisters "what religion they should belong to" so I have no problem with the Nation of Islam or Hebrews Israelites. And as far as Prosperity Gospel would you prefer a poverty Gospel instead. Jacob's Wealth Increases: Genesis 30:25-43 So where in the Scripture did any Prophet, Disciple, increase their poverty?

Hi. Modern-day Sudanese Nubian here, actual my tribes is from Wad Halfa, which is now submerged under the waters of the Lake NASSER, which engulfed a lot of our history and sites. Some of our people who remained near the Nile and refused the forced relocation, still until this day, even though Muslims (myself included) integrate a lot of Christian traditions and practices... Newborns still visit the Nile and observe baptism like practices and other practices, even older practices. On a visit to Kerma, I visited a few ruins of churches that even faced neglect and still have beautiful reliefs and mosaics from better times. Us Nubians honour our Christian forefathers and their faith. However, we always question why current authorities in Sudan have always tried to deny an important part of our history. This is not just a Muslim vs. CHRISTIAN THING (i would even attest to muslims in Nubia as protecters of what's left, look up the uorising againstbthe Kajbar Damn a few years ago), there has been a systematic destruction, theft, submerging (due to dams) of our ancestors churches and historical sights even but the "White colonialists ". You are on the right path brother, let's just hope this nasty current war doesn't destroy what little is left of our Abrahamic faiths histories. Keep'em coming...

You also forget to mention... not sure if on purpose.... if it wasn't for the Christian Kings of Africa who protect the 1st Muslims there woukd be no Islam.... The prophet of Islam always praised the Christian African Kings and when the forces headed to Egypt he instructed to take extra of the people of Egypt who were copts..... and don't forget one of the Prophets Wives was a Copt.... so my brother.. you are on the right path but you don't have to vilify Islam to advance your point of view. Most importantly, since your primary audience is of West African descent.... your whole narrative is a bit.... you know what I mean... but as a Nubian, who's family still speak our native tongues i appreciate your efforts just wish yiu didn't have to discredit others to validate your view. I have a question. Christianity wasnt around during the time of the Ethiopian on his way to Jerusalem and there is argument there isnt Christianity during New Testament times and only Second Temple Judaism. Since Jews in the diaspora and in Israel go to Jerusalem 3 tmes a year (Pesach, Shavuot and Sukkot) when the temple is standing. Is the Ethiopian just going for pilgrimage to Jerusalem for one of the feasts of the Lord? Judaism is well estsblished in the area before Christianity. Philo, Euseibus and a plethora of texts state that the "church" was basically jewish sect that practiced judaism well into the 3rd century. Since the early christians (who never called themselves by thay name) were just Jews practicing judaism and believed Yeshua was the moshiach, Why is the ethiopian considered a conversion to christianity when beta israel and ethiopia had estsblished jewish communities back then? Isn't he just a Jewish man accepting Yeshua as the moshiach? There are many in the New Testament who remained pharisee and just accepted Yeshua as the moshiach.

The gospel is called the Besorah (hebrew)as that word is found several times in the bible. However, calling it the gospel os perfectly fine, no need to make it a racial issuse. All translation of the word gospel is correct.
