Your channel was recommended by CEO driveher. I watched a few of your videos and liked your content so I subscribed. It was good thinking to bring your solar generator with you. Thank you for the information about state parks, not allowing gas generators.

Thanks for supporting my channel! We certainly missed that rule on the Virginia state park website since we rushed to book due to the rest of our calendar getting full for July. Rushing is an enemy of due diligence. Thankfully we were prepared in other ways. My biggest tip regarding a state park is to carefully review all rules for the state you plan to visit. Wishing you peace as you prep throughout the chaos🙏🏾

Depending on the the reason for a bug out for 3 days definitely a last resort option if you can’t shelter in place , what you did wasn’t bad at all but also take other things into considerations for how far the park is from your house , what level fuel you have at the current time of the bug out do you have a means to refuel in the bed of the truck or trailer. How are traffic conditions and plan other routes to your destination in case one or two aren’t possible, do you have a plan B if going to the state park if not a option anymore , other people might have the same idea going there too especially people that are not friendly. Do you have any fire arms definitely try to have two good ar15s with a good brand red dots on them sig sauer makes good decently priced ones and two pistols also for you and your spouse. Be on alert out there chances are you are not alone out there keep a eye on your stuff and the wood line around you especially when your sleeping people will do anything in a shtf world or bug out situation try to setup a perimeter alert of some type around you or take turns sleeping so you can always have a eye on things. if you have the extra money to spend look into mountain house freeze dried food so much better then Eating MRE’s but you will use more water also.

I enjoyed your video and you guys gave great suggestions. My family is planning a camping trip for the same reason. I just think we’re going to have a plan to keep cool or warm. we’re doing another camping trip during cooler weather. We’re going to try not to use it though because we want to see can we handle the heat. If it’s cold can we wrap up enough for the cold. The idea is what if the mechanical equipment let you down will we be prepared. I came to your channel from lead farmer 73

Very interesting and informative video! I am curious to the specifics of how you all cooled yourselves, especially if the generator use was prohibited (did the state park have power hooks ups, and what was the cooling device for the trailer; assuming it wasn't outfitted with an A/C). Overall, great video! Tell the 12 -year old MREs are an acquired taste...they will get there though 😂. Also, great to be forward thinking/ proactive like this! I wanted to capture more content to show that, but honestly I preferred living in the moment. Social media is a bit of a challenge for me! We had a portable AC and a couple of fans. We used the power hookup on-site. Looking into the ecoflow ac/heater so we can have an all-in-one type unit in the near future. Thanks for watching & happy prepping!
