The first thing I noticed about this reel is its weight kzbin.infoUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was a little heavier than other similarly sized reels. However, that didn't deter my enjoyment of how smooth this reel is. I spooled it with 20lb. Tuf-Line XP and it's perfect for what I use it for. I have it paired with an 8'6" Medium/Fast Okuma SST Salmon/Steelhead rod. The combination is perfect for casting and even drifting. I used the reel all day and didn't experience any arm or hand fatigue except when fighting a few fish! The bail is solid and feels strong when engaging by reeling and manually closing the bail by hand. The large rubber handle grip is very comfortable. It's got a powerful drag, silky smooth reeling, and feels very comfortable in the hands. I recommend it!

My experiences and those I’ve observed on your channel note a pretty tight correlation between people and fishing results- the more people, the worse the fishing. It’s true in the States and Indonesia; probably everywhere. The reality is that the more places get fished, the fish get fewer and smaller- particularly for those fish that people eat. People need to eat, but fish will gone (excepting the harder to get to places) if we can’t balance the harvest with sustainability.

Can't agree more but there's a place in my area(20km) that has great fish even though it's just right beside a fishing village. Kids aren't even interested in catching fish because of internet addiction 😂 well when i first tried the area I thought there was no fish but I was sure wrong from ox eye scad to massive emperor fish, every cast comes with strike. The locals do fish with nets but on the deeper waters at 200m they don't fish the shallow areas which are dominated by tropical fishes.🎣

During the full moon, the fish hardly bite. We bait hunters know this well. For a full moon I have 5 different types of baits. You try them all and see which one it goes to. For the new moon you can put almost anything on the hook everything eats
