I'm gonna see Christopher this year and take my family to one of his classes . It's a small world, I now live in Las Vegas, but Christopher resides in my old childhood neighborhood of highland park . I love this episode. Miss Huell.

Great Episode. Dolores and Christopher are beautiful people with good spirits. I was sad to hear that Dolores had passed away in 2008. The story of her death was mind blowing. If you are interested in the story. You can read it on Christopher Nyerges web site under memorial.

I like to look up places Huell goes and see what has changed with google street view. That lot stuck around till recently where it looks like they are using it for storage, I am assuming for the freeway.

Where they stand is still an empty lot (w homeless tents) and across the street from where they stand is now a 24hr strip club and weed store, where those white tanks stood. Opposite of that is the 101 freeway. I think that storage building that you mentioned was already there, just repurposed, although I could be wrong. You'd probably get sick eating those plants today

Huell flunked his KCET drug screen the next day. The guy who is showing him around needs a bigger sack/bag to stash his salad makings. Always pack those kind of foods loosely in order to keep track of what you have, to avoid insects and cross-pollination.
