Remember that a pack is only as fast as its slowest dying mob, and on an AoE pack, Serpent Sting + Outland Venom is doing a lot of work to ensure that your primary target (which should nearly always be the highest Hp one)'s HP is going down as fast as possible, speeding up the pack significantly. Single-target also makes up 30-50% of Mythic+ and the talents are insane for that.

First of all thank you for that really good guide! I like your videos! The question is: When do i go for the Aoe Rotation instead of the ST Rotation? At 2 mobs 3 or more?

I think of >=3 targets as AoE, but honestly the differences between AoE and ST rotation within the same build are pretty subtle. The main differences between "AoE" and "ST" rotations are because you run different builds for each, typically, so I never really go into a pack and think "oh yeah this is an AoE rotation pack".

Great video as usual, but there one thing I still would love to have clarified. You say the Tip of the Spear stacks don't work like combo-points. Does that mean an ability does the same amount of damage if we use it with 1 vs 3 stacks? If the dmg amp DOES stack, is it not always worth to get 3 stacks before using bombs, etc? Hope my question makes sense.

So since we are using WFB with tip stacks, and we are dumping WFB before butchery and CA. Do we use kill command before the WFBs that we are dumping? Or when are just using WFB as a filler do we kill command before each one to gain the stack of tip?

Nope! As the guide states, these "dump" WFB's in the opener (and otherwise) are some of the only non-Tipped Bombs we will be throwing. That said, you can usually see the situation coming up and pre-stack Tips for your dumb-Bombs (outside the opener, anyway).

Amazing video! I have a question though, is it best to use skardyn’s trinket on the opener or sync it with bombardier ? What i do is use the trinket 5seconds into coordinated assault then fury of the eagle, keep on the rotation, CA ends, explosive shot(bombardier), which explodes 1-2 seconds before the trinket timer is expired. Is this the best way or better to just use it on pull?

Using it on the CA should be better. I suppose there are a few universes where, like you mention, if you can manage to hit the Bombardier instantly when CA ends, Tipped of course, and you pop Skardyn 4s into CA so that it will cover those 3 Explosives from Bombardier, that could be strong too.. But it's basically trading 3-4 globals of Skardyn coverage at the beginning of CA, for 3x ES' worth of Skardyn coverage. I think it's a wash. Also worth keeping in mind that the nice thing about Bombardier is that you DON'T have to use it right after CA, you can save it for a future add spawn - hell, sometimes even your -next- CA. I do this most often on 2nd boss Necrotic Wake for example where CA lines up with the add phases very well. Also something to be said for what is easier to do reliably. Good thinking though and thanks for watching.

really nice guide , but one thing that I've noticed, and correct me if I'm wrong is that the weakaura for lunar that says hold on bomb is not really accurate because its not counting the fact that butchery / explosive shot / auto attack or kill command is reducing Bomb CD or I'm wrong ?

coordinated assault and fury of the eagle are both kinda 45sec cd, isnt it worth use like cd - bomb - explo and then u have 1tip of the spear and use fury of the eagle, and save flanking strike for after fury ends, rather and use flanking right after first bomb and make you use fury of the eagle with full stacks of tips?

@@hannulahtinen4787 Good thinking! I prefer to put Flanking first because it has the shorter cd, and using Fury first would push it back at least 3 seconds. Just like flanking gives you tip stacks that can cause tip to cap, so can fury. Using either ability with full tip is unfortunate but we need to get them on cd so picking the shorter cd/shorter cast time spell is the lesser evil in my estimation.

I sim over 150k dps less by using flanking strike over sulfur-lined pockets i don't think its worth taking at all it also doesn't feel like it synergises well imo.

Sims do not Tip Bombardier-ES's, so Flanking Strike is undersimming. Sims also do not hold Bombardier-ES for larger packs or AoE, which is what Sulfur prevents. Sims are a valuable tool when you understand how they work and what they do and what they take into account and what they don't. Sulfur-Lined Pockets is competitive, it's just not optimal.

This is my rotation: swap to firemage. S1 is done, from now till next expac, fire is coming back. BM MM already a joke, survival got punished because enh assa fdk are good meanwhile all of these got "nerfed". What a clownfiesta
