Space Engineer is like a mixture between Minecraft and Kerbal Space Program.
The main purpose of the game seems to be building a space fleet and fight/ally with the other factions. You build your ships piece by piece and the only know limit for the size of your ship is what you computer can handle.

With some smaller support craft as well I think, like the nebula B we've seen him fly with some smaller corvettes or something. Something to survive the approach to the base. 1 Cruiser, three corvettes, should be interesting without being too laggy

or even just trying a brief orbital bombardment of the base. he drops some bombs from orbit then moves to a position where none of the base weapons could reach (assuming any of them could hit really high altitude targets)

Seeing drones attack the base and shred up the ships is very fun to see. After hours and hours and hours of watching stuff get built and going back and forth to get materials to build things, it's nice to see some combat other than spiteful bullets.

Rail gun from space aka gravity cannon (i don't mean a stone thrower one, referring to a large block round one) it be hard to hit there base so it take a good few shots to hone in on there base and so that give them time to mount a counter attack.

make a "crashed" ship display messages about an incoming warship heading for captain jacks base but also supply them with countermeasures provided in the ships warning. something like this, "the crew abandoned ship as we ran out of oxygen due to the breach in the hull and the auto pilot will hopefully have brought whats left of the ship here to your base, here is the coordinates for a war vessel to counter the incoming war ship that will be arriving soon"

This idea would be for a boss wave. A mother ship that keeps welding up drones and rockets and won't stop until destroyed at which point it would explode dramaticaly. But then they discover that they had only taken out the expeditionary fleet...

The next attack should consist of a single larger vessel (armed with missile turrets and Gatling turrets set to only shoot down missiles) and 6 waves of 4 drones. May sound OP, but by the next attack, they’ll probably have honed their defenses and increased their defenses in general.

Attack them using kinetic bombardment. See what they do then. ICBMS would be cool. Lastly you could drop an asteroid on to their base (a very big ball of mined resources, like iron), but you need to give them warning so they can try to divert it somehow.

Staging a corvette, and some heavier drones would be very interesting, or maybe even a bomber, with lotus bombs to test out they're accuracy with those Gatling turrets

I propose a classic. Send a Red and Blue starter ships in from opposite directions, armored up with more guns. Ideally, have them on a collission course above Jack's base. If they stop one, they don't crash together. If they stop both, it won't land on their heads. Protip; install hacking modues to counterhack any attempts to install a control seat.

Ya know if Aaron were to find someone to help plan another attack wave on Jack's stronghold, he should do a remote control cruise missile bombardment. 4 missiles per bombardment and wait between the attack for 15 seconds after 4th missile getting blown up mid-flight or made impact. It'll be cool to see it

You should attack with Rover drones next. All of their defenses have better lines of sight and fields of fire to repel air attacks. Ground assaults with heavily armored drone tanks may give them a harder time. Maybe with drone air support as well.

try dropping the measuring stick from your kinetic energy testing video, that would be interesting, but still have a limited effect if you only drop one. Or a a missile/ICBM carrying gravel, with a launcher, that fires every 3 min forcing them to attack the launcher not just stay back.-You might need to wait for that idea so they have some offensive craft.

Find a couple of nearby ore veins (outside base defense range, but close enough that they will soon mine them) and set up some pop up turrets: Have some blast doors cover the top, then a piston to hoist up a turret from underground. If you put it on a sensor for say... 100ft, then it'll make for a nasty little surprise when they're mining. Plus, then they get the role-play of having to stage a minor offensive and bomb the turret.

It would be cool if you built a headquarters on either a moon and another planet, and create waves of enemies to attack them until they finally find your hideout and destroy it. If they succeed, they win, and the attacks stop. You could create a bit of a story element to it as well.

You should attack with a large ship escorted by a few gatling drones so that they can't just spam missiles at the big ship, and they have to take out the drones before being able to engage.

Noob question here: How do you copy/paste the same object rapidly like how you paste drones in? I know how to paste a BP. However, after pasting it into the game (in creative), I have to go back into the BP menu and reselect it every time.

you should have a large drone ship fly over head of their base but nit fire or attack just drop like one or two of the little guys and have the ship speed off over the mountain side. i think it would be really cool and add a bit of story to your raids making it look like the drones do not like people on their planet.

You should do more of an orbital bombardment with a capital ship. If and when they beat the capital shit you can crash it somewhere they can scavenge for parts. Make the drones a little bit faster with one less gun on it.

Next time you need to do artillery attack. From behind the hill or from the forest. I'd suggest either number of small walkers with rocket launchers(the forest is quite near to the base), or some guided missile artillery from behind the hill with minor ground to air defence... or you might try to dig yourself under their base and try to sabotage it from within.
