Thank you, brother John Eldredge. We need Jesus to calm our hearts, 'For I am with you until the end of the age'. Oh the assurance of that, it's amazing.

As a believer in Christ Jesus and a woman, this is so sobering. Thank you for this ministry 🙏.

Me too!! Gosh, i am so thankful for Wild at Heart ministry. Along with Lisa Harper, Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. Tim Fletcher (and intense recovery work/involved in local church) I'm unlearning dangerouss things about God. I'm learning more and more the heart of Poppa. I used to only study NT afraid of angry OT God but now I can't seem to get out of OT it drips with God's mercy.

@@kellychristensen4059 Amen 🙏. There is so much liberation in unlearning, relearning and learning. I was never taught to seek intimacy with the Lord, so grateful that it's never too late to learn.

man that seeking a bit of comfort in weariness was so challenging. It is so easy to go there. Am really praying for that to shift. Jesus save and redeem all of me

What if we don't know, or doubt that this is true? I have felt a sense of emptiness for most of my life and I spent about 15 years very much devoted and committed to God and the church. However, the feeling of emptiness inside me never went away. God never filled that emptiness like I was told by people, preachers, and sermons like this he would.

You say that the answer is to "turn everything over to God" but if you are someone who is 38 years old without a career or sense of what you are doing with your life and have to worry about how you are going to pay your bills, then sitting down, praying and reading your bible isn't going to fix any of that. I spent 10+ years of my life trying to do that and it didn't fix anything.

What is your solution?
@ASMRKlotz4 ай бұрын
@@jgrady7779 I don't have a solution.. that's the problem. I looked to God for solutions because I can't find one on my own and was still left without an answer.

If God told you today to shut it down, abandon your career and passion and go work at McDonald's for the rest of your life for minimum wage, would you do it? I am asking you John Eldredge? It's easy to say "give everything to God" when God has given you the life you wanted.
