These no talking videos are the best. The relaxation takes over my being. Not complaining about your other videos. I love them also. But sometimes peace and calm are difficult to obtain. I watch these videos and it's like being wrapped in a comfortable blanket in front of the warm, crackling fire. Thanks very much!

I really enjoyed this video Andy I needed something to take my mind off of all the hate and violence in the U.S. it is so scary the way people are acting and I am afraid of it getting worse. Thank you for helping me escape it for a few minutes.

I LOVE this video. Firstly, it teaches camp comfort in crisp weather. Secondly, it is chock-a-bloc with tips and techniques: the long-lasting fire lay, using a 'bedroll' and wool blanket on a raised bed, constructing a minimal shelter, making a rotisserie, and more. I like the 'retro' vibe of the candlelight and the leather harness. The videography is top-hole. I keep rewatching!

Very calming video to watch after a long and stressful day. I miss wildcamping - didn't manage to do any last year due to lockdowns and other things. Itching to get out around Easter time I really hope. Thanks Andy - your videos have been a link to the world I've missed in 2020. Did the log help keep the low temperatures at bay during the night?

Being off all the time I forgot it was wednesday, a double header too, I watched last night a woodland camp of yours where you had some dodgy smash, ha ha you've come along way with the cooking!, Finished the video now, awesome shelter, back to old school style, I liked the shape of it, good all night fire, excellent, not to mention that chicken by the way, yum, thank you.

I enjoy your videos, but adverts multiple times during the video impacts on the atmosphere and vibe. If you can, try avoid this. E.g. calm woods and fire, then, LOUD music advertised ottoman bed! Cheers.

I come from kent i do u tube viedos i put hydrogen on older diesell vichiles as a boy scout big on camping the real monty is living of the land make a snare catch a rabbit or a fish and really live of the land bring your own food in is semi good but really living of it is no1 now thats hard i enjoy your viedos and it makes somewhat homesock but england in such a huge mess i hope you miss the fallout i do love the freedom of America anyway great

Nice Video. I ran into your first video on cooking over a rock. Then I explored your other videos and subscribed. I think you are the Chef of Bushcraft/Outdoor cooking; you do amazing things with food while in the woods. I also find your videos both educational and relaxing. That fire type is commonly used in Finland during winter camping. Do a google search with the word "rakovalkea"

Pardon me for being ignorant; but would it be a better plan to have the opening on the small/lower hight side and the living space to be in the high side? The heat would escape less. Am I off base?

I really like these no talking videos. The silence of the woods, crackling fire, etc. I am drawn in by what you're doing and because you don't explain, it makes it a mystery...trying to guess what your plan is... and even more enjoyable to see how it turns out in the end. Thanks again Andy for taking us along to share in your outdoor adventures. I live in Washington State U.S. and we have much more hills and very thick woodland areas. Very hard to find a fairly open much less flat sport to get a shelter built. Really enjoy your videos.
