Survival stone shelter building - My beautiful windows almost finished !

Hello friends, currently building my little house in the woods! I'm far from having finished this construction. I need a lot of stones to finish my walls and build my chimney. In this video I'll finish the frame of my round window and then build the walls with clay, totally ecological! Of course, at the moment I'm preparing the main door, I'm missing a few elements and I'll be fixing it soon! Thank you all for your comments! I'll see if I can do another little video tomorrow! Is that wood ash lm seeing? Never seen that used before. Except in homemade cement.

I was wondering the same thing, Bobby. At first, maybe it's Sakrete? But, yeah, looks like wood ash. On another channel the host was saying how using sand mixed into clay will help prevent the finished clay from cracking - helps to more evenly spread-out the heat and dryness; instead of (without sand) concentrated heat spots in the clay from sun and heat. Other bushcrafters will use various dry grass clippings . . . but, I've seen that that method does seem to allow cracking when dry.

What a welcome site, Athos in a new video. There won't be a stone left unturned by the time you finish. You do very fine mud work my friend. I remember seeing you use your hands in the past to smooth it out. Is that straight mud or do you mix a grass or something into it ? It's good whatever it is. Cant waite till the next video.

It looks really great! I'm sure you know what you're doing, but I'm concerned seeing how you're removing so much soil from beneath where your walls are supported, I'm worried that they might fall in on you. At this point, they weigh quite a lot and they're not supported on one side where the wall could buckle inward from the bottom. It's all very ingenious, though, I'm enjoying watching your work!

Beautiful work.I don't know if you knew or not,but romans used to make hydraulic concrete by using salt water in concrete mix.Every time the concrete gets wet,the concrete becomes stronger.I made a camp shower drain out of it.Troweled a light layer of it on particle board just to see what whould happen and it hasn't come apart yet.Made me wonder about doing the walls of an earth shelter with it.

People you can make hemp Crete with stabilized lime and found out it has longer cureing time but one's dryed probably it can be plastered with natural lime plaster and can hold more in its block form

Unlike artificial concrete which has to be headed up geo polymer concrete which goes through a humidity of hydration geo is better and people claimed that they found that premade concrete blows up
