I've a big roll of 1 1/2" nylon webbing strap I bought for custom projects. One project I made 48" total length tree straps with loop ends large enough to feed either end through it's own loop. Great for hammocks, tarps, clothes lines etc. Combined with two kinds of carabiners designed for quick use for the wife's bugout pack. Knot tying not being a strong point. Makes for very fast setup and take down.

I want to set-up a separate "survival belt" kit ... that will hold my "Leroy" on my right hip, my silky Saw (in holster) on my left hip, a canteen and a small "fanny" pack for a compass, firesteel, paracord, a spaceblanket, etc ... But I know I will need suspenders. As, I need them anyway for just my pants (no hips, no ass) ... Can you ask Klik Belt to design a matching pair of suspenders ??? I really like the 2-3 ply belts ... (The idea is like my carpenders toolbelt I wear for work ... and that has suspenders on it)

@KlikBelts I'm also interested in your most sturdy model, as Leroy in my case is a big revolver on a hog hunt.

The klik Belt hasn't worked for my carry belt. They keep loosening. My very old 5.11 is still the carry belt of choice. Adding hook & loop to the Klik Belt like my 5.11 has likely would resolve my problem and make it the best by far. I do things like that but this Klik Belt might be too difficult to sow through. Think I will try though.
@Surago5 жыл бұрын
Steve Lucier this was my concern. Looks like it would loosen itself over time. I’m outside for work all day, moving and bending over lots of stuff.

This belt does loosen over time. I needed a belt to hold up my belt! I wish this guy was a more honest.

Mine doesn't loosen at all and I am pretty active at work. Under cabinets, etc. But they do offer a $10 Velcro addition if that helps.

So, because you may have a different experience than me (and because of the anonymity and insulation of the internet) you feel comfortable calling me a liar. There was a time on civilized society when that would have been justification for mortal combat. If you think I am dishonest, why do you watch my videos?
@stevelucier83465 жыл бұрын
@KlikBelts Interesting!! So I have two, tried one pulling straight and it holds fast. Not a chance to loosen. However when I put a curve on it and pull it loosens. lol Might be my body type. Still there probably is a fix.

The information was just interesting enough to take the edge off of a full blown commercial. In fairness, I begrudgingly admit that I'm interested, so the discount is welcome. The product certainly appears to be superior to other models and the new poly buckle sounds perfect. I again request that you STOP SHAKING THE ITEM YOU'RE TRYING TO DEMONSTRATE! Just hold it still so we can see it. And, one more time, I miss Schrade Saturdays. Just sayin'...
@SurvivalOnPurpose5 жыл бұрын
I tried to make it useful content Bruce. As well as being as up front as possible about my financial relationship with Klik Belts as a channel sponsor. Bottom line, the best way for me to keep making free content is though sponsorships with companies I personally trust and believe in. Klik Belts is one of those. As for Schrade Saturdays, I pretty much exhausted most of the models that seemed interesting to me and, since the Taylor family sold to S&W, they haven’t really released much new stuff at all. Plus, there was just so many other things I wanted to cover that it no longer worked to dedicate almost 50% of my video time to one thing.
@brucemorton135 жыл бұрын
@@SurvivalOnPurpose For the record, you've always appeared to be very transparent about commercial sponsorship, which I applaud. Re: Schrade, I'm just so budget minded that I liked seeing things which I could afford. I understand about the business changes there and your desires to move into other things. Your video content is always top notch, and I'll ride along with whatever direction you take, as long as part of your focus is how "budget friendly" any particular item is. Keep up the good work.

@terry50084 жыл бұрын
Waving a product around 6" away from the camera lens is not a good way to make a product video. If you're trying to actually look at the product, this video is frustrating beyond belief. Set it on a table for nice still shots with close-ups and perspective shots. Only touch it if you need to demonstrate something. And then, keep the camera far enough away for a good over-all shot. Maybe end with a panning shot going down the table showing the entire product line.
@SurvivalOnPurpose4 жыл бұрын
Except that is not how I make videos. I do agree I tend to move stuff around a little too much and I am trying to work on that. Thanks for the feedback.
