For the sake of story but also the will of players for noble 6 to survive I feel like it could go like this: 6 kneels down to his helmet (yes HIS helmet, cancel me) much like in this video, picks it up, looks at it, sees some memories of noble team and sees the damage on his helmet and finally leaves the helmet behind like it was left behind in the actual story.

Both being skilled and lone wolf types they meet a common ground of kick-assery! Noble six and chief dont say their MO, 6 takes off to find june, being oni or ex-oni both records are kept top secret & chief just happened to bump shoulders with him on the battle field & continues his mission being as noble 6 would not know master chief & vice versa. > > I really love halo & reach is my favorite, bungie did so much right in so little time. The amazing thing about it us we can have such a community of people who like this enough to develop their own version of the game that let it wide open. Unlimited fun, like Skyrim in someways.
