I had a very similar perspective as you once upon a time. I saw all the controversy and decided to give Survive the benefit of the doubt and ordered a knife with an estimated 60 day delivery (Shame on you Survive!). Then at the end of the year I bought into Guy’s song and dance on how everything is coming together and is on track to completing their backlog soon. I ordered a second knife that was said to be in the heat treat of production (Shame on me!). Since, I watched Guy repeat the same pattern of BS every year for 5 years (Now I just feel like an Idiot). Three strikes and you’re out of here...

I appreciate you sharing this is myself and the others. Very sorry to hear you had this experience with Survive Knives and I have heard some really crazy stories from many others. Thankfully I have not experienced the issues I have heard others go through but does make me nervous. So far I love the knife I got and didn't have to Waite long. I hope to grow my Survive Knives collection and things get worked out over their and any outstanding orders can be filled. This company has a lot of potential if they can get caught up.

I do disagree and although he has made a few mistakes and it’s easy to cast blame at him if he was trying to do what he could to screw others over he wouldn’t have lasted as long as he has. I’m sorry your experience was not a good one but I can only speak about what I have gone through So far I am very happy to say the least There are many models available if you do want to give them another shot. @@JBOutdoorsAndMore "a few mistakes" ... They have open orders back to 2015. They have 1000s of paid for but undelivered knives. Well before the BS excuse of bad steel. It was Millet's fault ... You know, the people making Reif Knives and actually delivering product. You are buying BS if you think it is turned around. He is cut of from NSM so no more Magnacut, he left Peter's, he can't afford thicker steel to make the GSO 5.1 that made him famous. Tell me, other than selling EDC 4s when he owes people other knives, what is Guy doing right?
