In a recent livestream, you mentioned the potential of trying to have a traitor in Survive the Hunt. An idea that occurred to me would be to have someone, other than you, with access to the hunters' coms, and be able to relay that information to you. That would let you get information in a way that doesn't ruin the video quality with endless chatter. Also, if possible, you should do a Hunt where all the NPC cars spawn only in orange.

They tried this traitor role in a Live Survive the Hunt; it was brutal because domination was much easier until they killed the traitor. There were up to three traitors bribed by the escapee trying to survive with Alex in the car.

@@MaXwellFalstein My suggestion is not to have an imposter hunter, but someone who is listening in to their coms while physically being a non-participant. So they only supply intel, rather than misleading the other hunters or trying to sabotage them.

Like, without the traitor, if someone spots him, they can relay that (and the location and the vehicle description) to the other hunters, to gather them all in the area before chasing him. This preparation can't exactly happen with someone listening to the comms, which I feel would alter tactics. Would the hunters travel in packs, perhaps?

Love the custom spawn sets. I wonder if a all heavy vehicles (vans and upwards) would be an interesting set? Slower chases but heavier crashes, and harder to guess what vehicle Alex is in? Might end up being too difficult or too boring.

Potential rule could be if Alex destroys all the pri's, he wins immediately, but if the time reaches zero without all the pri's destroyed, he then has to either escape the city, or reach a predetermined location

would still love to see a "no cars, everything is motorcycles" version of survive the hunt. if the server can be modded to spawn motorcycles instead of cars. an alternative thought: hunters and hunter have 1 of 2 very low end cars to start. with every pri blown up, 2 more car types (slightly better) get opened up for options. :-)

Fun fact, in GTA online, all land vehicles with gasoline powered engines can have fuel tank "punctures". That includes tanks. When a puncture occurs gasoline will poor out of the vehicle, at which point the vehicle will lose power before stopping completely. Yes, the gasoline is flammable and can be used to ignite and explode a vehicle. It's the main reason why a secondary explosion occurs when using an explosive to destroy a vehicle.

the japanese style of trucks you mentioned at at approximately 38:00 is called a kei (pronounced as K) truck, they've got engines no bigger than (i think) 600cc, but they can be quite tall, so kei trucks and cars are usually tall and boxy while being very underpowered. Edit: as a couple people pointed out it was not a kei truck (frankly I wasn't really paying attention to it, I just assumed based of Japanese style truck)

I have to say this one is a very mixed bag, but not for the reasons you might expect. Let me say up front that this is one of the few StH episodes that I didn't watch in one go, I found myself mentally wandering and took a break. So some of this was good. Great to see new cars, car mix, etc. Downside is that being on 5M you lose so much, a such as police, wanted levels, and other pressures. That is one part of what sort of I find a little off-putting. The real big issue is that Prii markers. Honestly, it makes the game too simple and too direct. Part of the fun is figuring out where the cars are, and having them lit up from the other side of the board sort of makes them a little to obvious. It makes it much easier to do what you call "blitz" mode. You don't have to really think, just aim for the light. It makes the game seems much more like an excuse for chases than really any stealthing about. In fact, the near total lack of stealth in this episode was a little dull to watch. 8 Prii kills is nice, but there are plenty of episodes with only 2 or 3 that are somewhat more entertaining. The other thing I would say is that this spawn set once again proves the basic problem of the game: If the cars are too fast, things just turn into an endless chase. The hunters have figured out to a certain extent to stop chasing you in a line, and instead are spreading out to catch you when you turn. More dive bomb / crossing things and a whole lot less of the direct chase. I think that is very much a result of the cars just being so quick that you are across the city in a flash, and there are a limited number of ways to go. So spread 10 hunters out, and they are more than likely going to see your fast moving car and keep the chase going endlessly. The final chase was pretty much exactly that. Anyway, suggestions: Change the prii markers to something that is only visible when you are much closer, rather than something you can see from the other side of the map. Pick car sets that have a real lower class of car that you are limited to with a better car then super car set of rules. Figure out some way to get the police, lester, and all that comes with it back into the game. 73 plus episodes, there are going to be a few that aren't as enjoyable to watch (I have watched most of the a couple of times). It's not really complaining, it's just pointing out what this one random guy didn't find as good this time out.

The Prii Markers are also useful for the hunters, they're not explicitly just for Alex. They are needed, especially for those who might not know the map well. And I think he still stealthed just as much as he ever did, really? I don't really understand where that criticism is coming from. While he did briefly blitz towards the end, it was not his primary strategy. It was a hail mary The other things that are lacking are part of WIP for the 5M server, they just take a while to find a way to make them work People are spreading out because they've lost exactly where the chase is, not necessarily intentionally spreading out. It has nothing to do with "figuring something out". I think the speed of the cars was fine. I don't think it makes it substantially more likely to find him. It's still very, very challenging to see Alex. You can go entire sessions without ever seeing him at all. I do like a slow spawn set as much as the next person though. After all, I was the one who suggested and implemented the three tiers (Slow/Regular/Supercar) for vanilla StH. The issue is, with 5M there are many mod cars, and it's genuinely impossible to have such a tier list. It's just guesswork, unfortunately

Alex, when you're being AI'd by cars at stop lights that have right-hand turns on them, just make sure you're not the first car at the light, so if an AI pushes up on you, push up on the car at the light, honk, and make them appear to be the problem, at that point you're just another cheesed off AI.

He'd still draw attention to the intersection, and by extension himself. It didn't happen much in this video, but usually 2 out of 3 hunters goes by would do so in a pack of 2 or more that are bullying each other, and not playing attention to traffic. If they saw anything like that, they might choose to investigate instead of bullying each other.

Is there a FiveM mod to make all or at least half of the cars randomly tuned? Would be funny AF if you unknowingly got a sleeper car while being forced into a seemingly-slow car. Edit 2: And more random vehicles. Like a truck in the middle of the city, or a supercar in the poor suburbia parts. Edit 1: I wrote 5M instead of FiveM. Edit 3: And please consider using that electric car more often in future videos, because I'm sure the hunters will use it, too.

the hunters have made the almost perfect strategy with these pri's. with the one being on top of a mountain and only 1 road going in and out and no way to just jump over the railing to get away, the hunters have made it to where that will always be the last pri that you destroy so all they really have to do is wait for you to destroy the others, gang up quickly in that area and you lose every time from overwhelming numbers.

Why not give yourself as many changes as outfits you can change into on normal gta but have a timer but if the time goes off and your in a chase you lose that chance to change and have to wait for timer to go around. And they dont stake, so you can't be like, "i got one earlier." Something like that could work. But i say have someone else holding the timer so that in case of a chase timer, they can then restart the timer.
