I must try and survive on Gta 5 while completing a series of tasks, but as the tasks get tougher and my luck wears thin I end up on quite the rollercoaster ride.

I think a good compromise is if you check cars with a gun, you must shoot directly down at the ground or up into the sky, then un-aim your gun so the nameplate doesn't show up

I feel like there needs to be some rule changes for game balancing. Balancing makes the game more interesting, rather than being screwed over by grey area ruling or a random challenge that skews advantage. No shooting down a line of cars and no checking a line of cars. One suspicious car gets checked and the hunter moves on. This avoids the issues with tags not being able to be disabled, and alleviates some of the issues with traffic jams which are entirely artificial and do nothing but trap the survivor in an unfair way while they're still incognito. There's also so much you can do to an AI that isn't just standing in front of them and shooting at them, this tactic just seems like cheesing a grey area in ruling, which is unfair advantage. The specific car challenge needs to be limited to vehicles that match that of the current hunter tier. Forcing the survivor into a higher tier is basically a free upgrade for the hunters, especially when the car isn't within the current spawnsets and is likely to be found anyways. What happened here was unfair because it wasn't entirely left to chance (such as spraying is left to chance of who's around) nor is it left to strategy (such as disclaiming your location is left to chance and strategy of how quickly you can get away without being caught and how close anyone is to you), and it's more of a 'screw you and your stealth.' Honestly this challenge might be better left to including only current Simeon vehicles rather than person vehicles, just for fairness' sake; the challenge of what a Simeon vehicle makes you do could also be a bit more interesting considering you have to not only spray it, but also deliver it to the docks. Otherwise there's just no good way of making this challenge fair, spraying a random spawn vehicle has its workarounds for remaining incognito, but pulling out a personal vehicle just feels like it gives the hunters too much of an advantage considering how much more these vehicles would stick out. The rollercoaster and ferris wheel should be changed to a visit challenge rather than a ride challenge. If the set pieces notify other players, that's unfair, especially as you get locked to the set piece in a fairly open area with no good exits, it's a quite literal trap. Instead they should be visit locations, in the style of getting into the bincident bin rather than the Michael's house drive-by, as this would retain any amount of current stealth status, not notify hunters of the survivor's location, and still has the survivor go to a set piece's location without being locked to said set piece.

We don't know what Alex does for 'ride' or visit tasks, just a vague direction. In this case all we knew was he was in the West which could mean many locations, hope that clarifies. As for not checking lines of cars, what constitutes a line? That idea, just, doesn't work sorry

Alex has pulled off the ride the roller-coaster task without issues before, so it's quite viable as a task. The bincindent, task of actually getting into the bin has been used previously, and it was Alex who declared that he should get into the bin to make it count, not just drive past the location. The only thing the hunters are told is "it's a visit task" they don't know which one, but do have a list of possible locations, though even after completing, they are only told "task completed".

Don't forget; you have to be out of the police's line of sight before Lester can remove your wanted level. Hard to know without the radar, but that's why he wasn't letting you escape the cops.

No! It wasn't like that! It is because of the Freemode event, which spawned a specific vehicle with supplies for one of your businesses (if you have those), which you have to rob, withstand the reinforcements and deliver the vehicle to your business to resupply it , or to a specific place . That's why Alex couldn't get rid of the wanted level at that exact time. Same goes to Armored truck: While it's unrobbed no-one in the session could use Lester's help for "Cops turn blind eye" or "Remove wanted level".

Agree with the above comment. + I don't even think that you need to be out of sight of the police to let Lester remove the wanted level. I mean it might could be a recent change to the game but when I played GTA:Online the most in 2019, you could call Lester without a problem even if a herd of cops is just in front of you. I might be wrong, but I remember exactly this being a fun joke back then. Bit of difficult to do tough, because usually if people are about to shot you down, you can't handle the phone at the same time.

While I am bit late, I do want to toss out a couple of potential strategies you may want to consider - some of this comes right after rewatching you trying to hide out as Blakey. First off, predictability is your enemy. There are certain things you like, certain things you don't. So when you get to a place where you normally "jump on the motorway" or "play sneaky buggers", try making the turn the other direction for once. Surprise them. I also did wonder can you steal the Prii when you need to blow them up? Can you arrive where the Prii is, steal it, move it, and then blow it up just to mess with them? Or just move the Prii enough so when the hunters come to check on it, it's no longer "there"? Even 1 street would be enough to mess their minds up. Finally for me, is a get away tip. If you are going straight, and then make a turn say right and the car behind you misses the turn (goes straight through), my suggestion would be to go no more than 1 more street and turn right again. A car that misses a turn may just go once street further and turn, so if you go a ways and then turn left, you are in fact turning back in front of them. If you go right again, you will be creating the biggest distance between you and that following car. While it is to some extent doubling back on yourself, it is very likely that the chasers were mostly on the road behind you to start with, and as a result aren't where you are going to turn down. This can create a much larger gap between you and the cars chasing you. It might also open up a situation where you can turn into an alley or a parking lot entrance and sort of disappear. Oh, one extra. When you have to get a Pri at the airport or do something at the airport, consider taking the subway out of there. Not driving your car, actually just riding the train 1 stop down and getting a new car. It is extremely unlikely that they would consider you would do it. You can change your outfit and all at the same time and come out the door at the other end as a new man.

In regards to the mud synching, on the enhanced editions, car damage in general, accidents and car related incidents tend to happen more frequently and the tiny things, occur (like AI parking) or Ai peds visiting houses in vehicles, mud doesn't really sync, sand/tree damage does and off road vehicles will tend to have splatter show for a longer periods of time, but in a mass online mode, it probably wont sync.

Great, as always, folks. I would suggest that the Rumpo Custom and, depending on which model, the Granger, shouldn't be used by the Hunters. Both of these vehicles have bullet resistant windows, if it was the old Granger then no, it doesn't but the 3600 Imani Tech variant does have, which is a feature that the Survivor doesn't have access to in a regular run. I know there is the no weapons from inside a vehicle rule so Alex getting shot from(or into) one doesn't matter, however, whilst he's on-foot, trying to take out a driver behind the wheel of one of those trying to plough him gives the team a *really* significant advantage. The biggest flaw Alex has when it comes to chases becoming shootouts. He always aims at cars driving around instead of the people actively shooting him. Yes, he could then be flanked by the drivers, but theres a big difference between the active threat and the not-quite-threat.
