That is an escape tunnel from the mine in case of a cave in. They are usually completely enclosed by concrete and rocks so they could attach a winch to pull people out.

Yes Chantel...jumping cactus 😉. I do a cleaning job where someone has 2 of those blighters on their desk...and I go nowhere near them, yet I still get their fine needles in me 🤨. Hope you're doing well Chantel 🤞🙏

I'm trying to find a toy Jeep like Herc for her dashboard 😆...but no luck so far. Good question 🤔. There's a big puddle at the first building I stopped by. So maybe there's some more around. I think they came down from the mine area above the town. But they are smart. They know where the water is. Thanks Tracey 💗 well see you soon.

That’s some pretty good masonry and those strutcures with the heavy beams on top of stone walls are pretty cool

Right. Amazing masonry skills. Over 100 years old and still looking pretty good. All those beams were hauled in by mules from Milford Utah. Crazy 🤪. I wonder how many days that took 🤔.

These were tough people Curtis 👌. That's a long way from anything, so if your face doesn't fit on site, where are you to go? I think of how the miners were probably exploited, and then they die from the silica dust 😞. Those railings in the graveyard looked fairly new, and some nice headstones...so somebody cares 🤔. You should have shared your burgers with the Mustang...I reckon he switched your propane back on to teach you a lesson 😉🤭. Thanks for the entertainment, as always Curtis (and Herc 🙂).

Wow. You are right. If you weren't tough. You probably wouldn't make it 😕. Crying isn't going to help. At all. They were most definitely exploited for the labor. Because like you said, where are they going to go. That iron work looks really nice. And definitely a couple of newer headstones . I'm not sure if horses like burgers 🤔. That is something to think about. Maybe he did turn my stove on. So I would leave sooner. I guess I have some theories to check out next time I get back there. 🤔👍

When I was there in 2020, the sign off the main road was pointing straight down, where it should have pointed left. Did they fix that ?

I think so. 🤔I didn't have any trouble finding Delamar. It is one of the easier ghost towns to find.

Sure did. Most of my adventures are solo. My wife comes with me as much as she can. But not this one.
