You forgot to bring a potted plant for the window sill, though, and a few wild flowers and a glass vase to complete the scene. I’m glad I decided to watch this despite the clickbait title because I just wanted to see what the abandoned house looked like. This was very satisfying to watch you clean up and make it a pleasant and cozy environment to cook, eat, and sleep. It’s an inspiring attitude about being resourceful and making improvements without needing much. The fried meat pie was also a great idea, I would usually be too lazy to make dough but if you can do that in an old shack with no running water I can do that for dinner! I’ll watch more of these!

The title is misleading. He was not lost or near death. This was a story about how a person can manage living…. Not unlike the folks who live in campers, RV’s, or little houses and post their lifestyles online.. It wouldn’t surprise me if this guy didn’t make money as an actor doing this sort of filming. The sponsor undoubtedly provided an expense account for the firewood, candle, groceries, and homey curtains, etc. By the way, this did not take place in Mexico as some commentators seemed to think. See the Cyrillic writing on the containers of flour and milk. So, it’d be in Russia or near there. Being tidy was part of his script. You could tell cleanliness was his second nature, not his first by the way he discarded the blown out match down on the clean floor. That said volumes! At least one other commentator mentioned it too.
