Thanks for watching and for the comment. I was there on 20 July this year. There won’t be any snow as it melts very quickly, but it will still be pretty chilly, especially if the wind is blowing.

What sleeping bag and sleeping mat did you use?

Hi, I use a Thermaresr Neo Air X-Lite sleeping pad, with a Rab Neutrino 600 Sleeping bag. I also use thermal liner in the sleeping bad as well as a SOL Bivy bag to keep the sleeping bag dry. In snow, the tent gets heavy with condensation so you absolutely must keep your sleeping bag dry.

Amazingly Captured Mark. Where you guys not tempted to use the hut on the escarpment. Hopefully ur sleeping bags kept u guys nice and warm and cozy

Thanks so much! Not tempted at all, part of the experience for me is surging using everything I carried up there. There is nothing wrong with the hut, it’s relatively clean at the moment, but I prefer being out in my tent. Our gear kept us toasty, never got cold while sleeping.
