Surviving a Frozen Superflat Wasteland in Minecraft Episode 2

Oh god, look what they did to thrite
I attempt to survive a Frozen Superflat world in Minecraft with no animals, no villages, no water, and progressively increasing difficulty. The only way to keep up with this godforesaken modpack is to get full diamond armor and enchant it. This is episode 2 of the series.
This was heavily inspired by Thrite and Calvin9000 and AsianHalfSquat.

@@BananaaLord Yeah, it's basically you making a pizza with regular bread as the crust, and then you toss it in the air fryer for a certain amount of time or until golden-brown. It's really good and an easy substitute in case you can't get your hands on actual pizza. 😊

yes the minecraft content being saturated by all these "hardcore survival, automate everything with 10.000 farms, know every nook and cranny about the game, build the largest pyramid in the world, build a fucking redstone flying machine that can mine diamonds and netherite at the same time while killing 10 enderdragons and 20 withers per second" - type youtubers has gotten very unrelatable and repetetive and this is such a breath of fresh air :) (although all of the above is very impressive, im not saying its not)

Hey, i'm tired of all of these negative comments, so let's just give you some good advices because i played the temperature modpack a while ago and still remember some things : In soul sand valley, there is a plant growing on soul sand, which cools you A LOT when eaten for =~ 40sec, it is totally renewable so it's an amazing item to have To travel in the nether, you can mine in the ceiling, or set your render distance to 2 to block if you continue to build bridges You can obtain leather by trading with piglins (they actually give you a lot of it), so you could make a quick manual gold farm You can place boats to catch mobs and never letting them dispawn Once you have a lot of leather, you should really upgrade the armor temperature resistance You can make an infinite water source with 1 bucket if you have 1 bone meal : place the water 2 blocks high(or more) then bonemeal it, an aquatic plant will grow, break it and then you have 2 sources If you want 1 wandering trader to spawn, you have to be near a Bell (=< 13 blocks) so you should get some one day since this mob is really useful in one biome In the fortress, you can place 3 blocks sometimes so that the 2 blocks high limits the movement of wither skeletons Trading with piglings is a big part of thtte game, you can get water bottles from them, which is good for brewing Advice for another survival : there is a chance for a witch to throw a weakness potion, which cancels the need to go to the nether to get a brewing stand for converting a zombie villager I think that's everything Waiting for more advices in the comments guys PS : continue videos and have fun on this world ;)

Another method to deal with your 'portal on the ceiling' nether problem and not really being able to descend to a useful elevation, (if a bit of a tedious one): Go farm a bunch of gravel/sand in the overworld, and use it to make a big ol' pillar under your portal. You can then use the pillar as a base for a staircase to whatever height you want.

Wrld, USE THESE TIPS- we gotta amp up the big brain strats here Your snow bunker that holds the portal to the fortress- TUNNEL TO IT FROM YOUR main base in the overworld -and tunnel to any outpost! #2. for your nether tunnels and bridges, give them WALLS so ghasts can't see you. later when you get your trades going via zombie villagers youcan buy glass for windows #3. USE THE NETHER CEILING TO TRAVEL. Also, IF IT HELPS, consider making lots of iceboxes for outpost bunkers in the nether #4. Get bonemeal and VINES- both red ones and blue ones. You can then , when coming out of the nether ceiling, bonemeal the red vine, then climb down safely to anywhere you go IF you need to get up high in the nether to a hole or bridge- do the opposite, red plant red vines, then BONEMEAL and you have a instant ladder #5. Yes, put a portal in the stronghold- but here's the key- once in the nether , break the portal, get to the ceiling, remake a portal at the saem coordinates but HIGHER y coordinate wise, to link the portal- and now it's in a safe bunker in the ceiling- now you can work on digging a nether ceiling tunnel thru netherrack to your main nether outpost- (which needs a stairway to a ceiling room or couple- complete with iceboxes, packed ice eventually -etc- you should be living LARGE in the nether ceiling) #6. Make safe BUNKERS everywhere- nether, overworld- make them FREQUENTLY , and easy to get to. SERIOUSLY. #7. Build little platforms 3 blocks high so you can run under them, in random areas you've made bases at and bunkers ,so endermen if they chase you, can't reach you since they are too tall to get you under a 4 by 4 or 5 by 5 cobblestone or netherrack platform #8. Time to get silk touch on some pickaxes, and ender chests so you can keep your important loot safe! #9. ALWAYS think about line of sight- mobs can't ge tyou if they don't see you because there's a wall or something in the way- use this as you walk around! #10. I SAW THAT_ using the water skin put out the flames form the blaze- you need to watch for tricks like this and use them always!

Would powdered snow help in the nether? You can get it with a cauldron when it snows, and place it with a bucket. The mod uses the same freezing screen effect when you get cold, so it might lower your temp when you stand in it
