So here's the thing: As someone who has routinely hung around with the specific sort of nerd (affectionate) who would work in the paleontology lab in a natural history museum, and whose parents were lab workers... that Estes session made TOTAL SENSE. They wanted to know how y'all were communicating, they wanted snacks and caffeine, they were calling each other over to see what was happening, and then they were just being doofuses pranking on each other and y'all. And when you said you were gonna leave they doubled down and were like "BRING SNACKS!" That was great and, frankly, gave me a feeling of very pleasant nostalgia.

As someone who has worked in multiple museums, yes most of them are haunted/have spirits. It’s just the nature of collecting objects throughout history. I love Shane asks questions for the estes method like he would ask any non-dead person questions. If there are ghosts, it must be kind of scary having strangers come into your space in the middle of the night trying to "hunt you down". I'd be more likely to talk to someone calm than someone pointing a holy-water pistol around the room.

@bluejediforce6 күн бұрын
normally that would be true, but this is a natural history museum only. It did not look like there were any human artifacts there, just prehistoric and modern animals and the natural, non human world! I gave the museum a quick google and yeah it looks like it has a bit of the history of LA, mostly critters, and some rocks and gems! I did not see anything about indigenous peoples or other cultures, so thus the likelihood of artifacts being stolen is much, much lower :)

Hey guys, first of all, very entertaining episode! Second of all, and more importantly, you caught a whole bunch of evidence with boo buddy but I don’t think you know what the phrases mean. Here is a cheat sheet for the stuff that means something and AREN’T just prompts: 1) “Did you say something? Can you please say it again?” - It picked up an EVP, so you should probably take a close look at your devices. 2) “*giggles* That tickles.” - It’s picking up on EMF changes in general. 3) “Did you touch my tummy?” - Something is literally touching its stomach, there should be a light on its stomach that lights up too. 4) “Are you holding my hand?” - something is touching one of its hands, the affected hand will like up as well. 5) “Brrrr. It’s cold.”- Temperature drop. 6) “It’s getting warm” (not 100% Sure if this is the exact phrase tbh) - Temperature rise. Again these phrases may be a bit off but it will be something similar. Unfortunately my brain does not come with phonographic memory so they may be different. If anyone else in the comments knows more of the non-prompt speech or if I got anything wrong please feel free to comment! Again it does not take away too much from the investigation but it would be cool to see if another device picks up on the same thing at the same time! Love you guys!

I feel like at one point with the Ovilus, the entity was acting as a sort of tour guide. That was my favorite part of the episode, it looked like fun. I used to want to to sneakily stay in a museum overnight as a kid, this literally would be my dream lol Did you guys ever have a fascination with wanting to see a spirit when you were children as well? (Though, I'm sure Shane will say he outgrew it by the time he was 12 haha)

Ryan, Shane, please, I want you to know that in 2023 Ghost Files pretty much saved my life. One of the things I kept telling myself was 'hey, you won't get to see the new season of Ghost Files you love so much if you leave now'. I'm much better now, but I'm tearing up just thinking back to that time and I'm so grateful that you two exist, and your whole crew, and you create something so great, I literally didn't want to leave before I got to see it. I love you all.

I think the best thing about this episode for me was that you got to see just how supportive and real the friendship Ryan and Shane actually have is. Whilst I absolutely LOVE the goofy shit and cackle every episode, Shane put it away for a moment to help Ryan really have a bit of introspection on himself as Shane knows that Ryan really struggles with his own self-esteem. It was a really beautiful moment, honestly, and shows that Shane really cares about Ryan as a person and wants him to see the worth he and so many others (including myself) see in Ryan. It got me in the feels, my dudes. If y'all read this, please know that y'all are good people- both of y'all. Feels good, man. Feels real good.^^

I’ve seen at least one video on about half of these subjects. The 411 series is very interesting and entertaining (and those cases deserve attention and continued investigation) but several families and people interviewed by David claim that several things have been left out of his narrative/videos that really cast a different light on the cases. Overall, I’m glad the channel exists and David does the work that he does, but the journalism and sources leave a lot to be desired. A similar channel with great proof of sources and research is Lore Lodge. They cover similar cases and often come across the same references.
