Just out of curiosity my man, but if you guys didn’t have the means to fix those plates why would you prefer to keep the press vest over them even tho they’re badly damaged?

If a vest is badly damaged, one or two shots can ruin it and then when it's ruined it provides no protection. I'm not sure exactly how it works but I think I saw a Wobo video explaining that if a bullet does enough damage to ruin the vest, then it does full damage to the player afterwards, so I'm always wary to take badly damaged vests that I can't immediately fix up 👍 Someone could correct me if I have the wrong info though

@@scholarcormier no no you got the right info, I learned the same in WOBO as well haha. But I got curious because even if is badly damaged it can tank the first one or two bullets way better than the press vest right? I personally think that the vest is meant to tank only the first bullet because it’s usually the one we don’t see it coming, all the rest is fair game ya know? But I get your point mate and as always you are a very nice and calm person. Keep up the good work ✌🏼

@@phenr1r ballistic (or so called press vest) protection is pretty close to plate carrier, the main difference is between shock damage received. Pretty much less uncon if you are wearing plate. If I had to immediately choose between pristine/worn ballistic vs badly damaged plate, i'd take ballistic for the same reason Scholar mentioned
