Surviving as an abandoned child? - The Honey Challenge Part 1

Challenge Rules: You have to start with a child living alone. You can do this with a mod that allows you to send a parent off lot. I used cheats. Turn testingcheats on and remove the adult from the family. Once you do, you won't be able to enter CAS again. So make sure your kid looks the way you want them too. You have to hit these goals to in order to age up: *Childhood Goals* Become an "A" student Max an after-school activity Complete two childhood aspirations Get in range of two positive traits Max all fundamental skills *Teen Goals* Become an "A" student Get in range of all positive value traits Max a different after-school activity Max a part-time job Complete a teen aspiration Graduate early Qualify for at least 3 scholarships Go to college as a teen If you don't have all the packs to complete this challenge, feel free to substitute goals or change the rules! Don't forget to check the description for more tips and information. This was inspired by the character Jennifer Honey in the movie Matilda. I made these goals myself but I'm sure there have been other Matilda challenges. I am just unaware of them. EDIT: I forgot the most important part! Jennifer Honey and Agatha Trunchbull were downloaded from the gallery: Agatha Trunchbull by Zaubernova Miss Jennifer Honey 1890 by BonluvDon (There's a normal one by the same person that is completely buggy for me and breaks my game.) I aged down Jennifer for the Let's Play and also added her parents. I'll share them in the gallery under #jp_honey_chall

This is quite interesting and different from the other challenges I've seen. Love how the sims are quite identical to the original characters! Can't wait for part 2

I think the reason they called it the "Honey" challenge is because it's specifically based on the character from Matilda, who was abandoned by her aunt the way it was mentioned in the beginning

@@wolfclone1199 I knew that, but like the creator said, you could name it after the child you start with. I got the impression from his comment to me and the vid that even though it's based on the Matilda character, you can still modify it if you want a different story with an abandoned child to complete all the tasks of the challenge.

Being unable to start events a child is insane. Most kids can plan a couple of events at 9-10 years old.

I didn't realize it was something the couldn't do until this let's play. But it did add to the challenge, which was fun.

It reminds me of the story I made for my most recent family One child was an orphan cause he was the son of a single man who was abducted by aliens, got pregnant then died (none of that was planned) The other one was also a child who ran away from her "abusive" parents (they bugged so much that they never took care of their kids) with her infant sister So I had 2 children and an infant trying to survive and get some money

@@jeniouisplays I found a buggy mod that allowed me to bottle feed and change diapers but I ended using the need fulfilling crystal cause it was too hard to get them to do that

Regarding not being able to read with an adult, is the child not allowed to have adult friends they can read with??

It's an interaction the adult has to initiate. Children can have adult friends though. They can even start stay-overs and that can include adults.
