Really? Until I turned off fears entirely every single one of my child sims got fear of the dark pretty much instantly. And it was bugged at the time - if you “cured” it it didn’t actually remove it, just swapped it so they were always afraid during the day instead of at night. Did they ever fix that?

Idk i think it’s from some sort of pack because i never got them until i got a load of mods and packs
@bookcat123 Жыл бұрын
@@queenofthegasstation Pretty sure it’s base game. But it was just introduced to the game last summer when they replaced the old whims system with the new wants & fears - that was when high school came out, and one of the annoying things was that while whims were in all the packs the new wants & fears launched with base game and high school compatibility only. Presumably they’ve continued including them in packs since then, but I’ve had the whole system turned off (first via mod, then via game setting once they fixed it) since just a month or so after the launch. I don’t own the high school pack.

Can't help but notice how the way they're dressed up became almost opposite when they were aged up. As kids, Max had simple clothes, easy to wear or move in; while, Kary had princessy, aesthetic clothes, and lots of pink. But Max as a teen is dressed up - skirt, pink shirt, a brimmed hat - it's as if she was trying to copy Kary (maybe to try and make her mom like just as much if not more?); while Kary is dressed comfortably. As if she doesn't care what she wears because she won't be feeling insecure at all. I don't that was just the scenario that popped into my head as soon as I saw their aged up looks :(

I did this once when I was doing the decades Challege cause I had twins and felt like the oldest aka my heir was too avarege and as only the mom could educate I made her go on and beyond with the heir and just sort of help the younger one. @erviatangerine51086 ай бұрын
@@admiravelmundodemel5760I had the similar experience in the Sims, my sim had twins, and one was very smart golden girl spellcaster while another one accidentally turned out to be hybrid (spellcaster + werewolf), but her werewolf form was pretty broken + she somehow started shape shifting since childhood (I think I messed up some mods to make this happen). It was a complete accident, but I just went with this and gave her cc ADHD trait. I eventually wanted to make her an addict with BD mod and kill her by ov*rdose, and I started that, but suddenly the first girl who supported to be my heir, died 🥲 Broken girl beat her addiction, became famous archaeologyst and maxed out quite a few skills despite having ADHD and needing Adderall for basically everything. I was honestly very proud of her by the end 😅 went from the most broken and cursed sim I ever had to one of the coolest one.

I have a Sim who currently has 19 children, no more than 7 have ever lived together in the house. I mostly let them do whatever they want, and I don't do much with the mom either, and it's so interesting to see how they autonomously interact with so many kids. I rarely play Hates Children sims, too. so when I played Sergio Romeo, he and Zoe Patel had an "unwanted" child (she was happy, he was not obviously) and he got a want to crush a child's dream, i had him direct all that on his own kid. super harsh. but of course this is happy and cheerful sims 4 and they end up being friends autonomously cuz sims 4 logic. 🤷♀

My brothers baby mama played this challenge in real life. Her oldest was her golden child whole her honest was treated like crap. They are both early 20s now and believe it or not it was the "Golden child" that cut off her mom while the youngest has limited contact. The oldest was expected to be prefect and had really high standards while the youngest had almost no expectations and no real parenting. They both have anxiety and depression as a result of their mom. The oldest has ocd though she's in college and doing well in college. The youngest has a decent job though she does drink a lot, was into more hardcore but now only smokes weed and vapes. She's only 20 so hopefully as she gets older she'll stop drinking so much. To be honest I'm proud of both girls, they both had a hard time growing up and even pitted against each other (they get along now) by their mom. Their mom was and is a hardcore drug user who had a parade of men coming in and out of their home (some were not good at all to my nieces), called even my youngest niece the N word with the hard R at the end because she's mixed (my brother is half black and is only the biological father to the youngest but he loves the oldest as his own too) I think of their mother as the destroyer of lives because she will try to destroy the life of anybody in her life if she thinks they have wronged her in any way even if they are her own children. There's so much more even but that's all another long story.

I watch two youtubers that had previously worked with small kids, both are fun, sassy, sadistic, and headstrong people... I wonder if that from the kids... also I really want to see a part two of these two...

I feel like the parenthood mechanics should have the kids learn from what the parents do in the same room. That way the example set by the parents would have some impact on their behavior, even if they don't interact directly.
