Tbh as someone who played Poland the most (I don't have all of the dlc, so Polands focus tree is still pretty big, just with no alt history, also I'm Polish, of course I have to main it)the historical Poland is not that bad If you wonder, NEVER take the right path (which is also the historical Mościcki path), it doesn't give you much, the best thing is being allies with Romania, but it's pointless, because you get it nevertheless if you become a major power (hard but duable). Centre path helps you alot with it, by giving you Lith. Lat. and Est. basically for free, and you can snipe weak neighbours really easily by panslovian revengism. Plus if you ignore the peseant revolt you can even get ITALY into your faction. Left path is by far the most overpowered. Having like 20 people in a faction is kinda overpowered. Though when the germans attack, you are kinda weak, because you left out so many industrial and army focuses by inviting all of the people (this goes for all paths if you become a major power), but I think it's reallly worth it nonetheless

Im playing Poland for the first time right now, and have taken Anastasia Romanov as my King. I have since defeated Germany with the Baltics help and have now just defeated Russia. My next war is with Italy, then i can hire the Polish bear that loads artillery shells as a general. Wojtek will eventually become my leader! Loving this playthrough.

@Player_027 the paramilitary groups are really good because of the recruitable pop you get. For the left, most are decent (other than legion of merit). The castle sucks, but if you do choose a side, go for the synthetic bonus rather than banning parties.
