When you started driving the cart in the forest, all i could hear in my head was, "George, George, George of the jungle. LOOK OUT FOR THAT TREE!" Every time you hit one made me giggle. 😂 Love this series. Looking forward to the next episode.

Location 2 is AMAZING. that’s where I built. The river doesn’t freeze, lots of space to build, LOTS of trees, heaps of deer and fish, close to the 3D printer and cannibal camps and the view of the mountain is superb.

Greetings from Arizona GE , I would like you to build your base in a new location, NOT the same old same old. You have a giant map to choose from, get creative bro. Love that you are starting a new season. Keep on keeping on. You ROCK Brother.

The same strategies apply that would apply in real life. don't build on unstable ground or too close to the ocean in a tidal zone. high secluded locations can be your friend. Find a natural bluff, or some location with natural defenses on 2 or 3 sides, that will aid in the defense of your camp, by funneling in any threats that do come, into one easy to handle direction. Make sure you have an emergency escape route that you can cover but they can not, be it hidden or too difficult for npc's to traverse. make sure you have a river or stream with clean water that comes preferably from a mountain, underground near by. The land will help filter and keep it clean. Make sure the location you choose has easily and protected resources to collect nearby, with a close by location to gather food, along with those needed resources. being its a game, you can likely ignore a couple things, like making it large enough to have a place for trash, and hanging up food, and a protected site for a latrine. Then set up your base camp, and build away. don't forget your defenses, and home save location. find a location that fits those basic considerations and you'll have a strong base camp location. then you can worry about what it looks like. concealment would normally be a blessing. just make sure you have cover if you need it.

I was expecting more than 1 choice for a base build, but there's a good spot in the middle of the map right next to an inland lake you can see it from the GPS

So glad youre starting a new series. The crates and boxes have an option in the settings to allow for respawning (it was originally a bug but people liked it so they added it as an option - off by default). Though if you wanted to set this up, you had to create a custom game and change the settings there. Otherwise, there is no way to retroactively change these settings. Luckily stuff that spawns outside of boxes/crates/etc will respawn in the world.

I sit here watching you play and fly through all the different crafting and building. And then I go try the game, enjoying all the beauty of the landscape and how the light glimmers off the water and the immense crafting and building mechanics while forgetting there’s a bunch of crazy people coming for me and I haven’t crafted any weapons then the first wave comes smacking me around like an idiot

Hey GE, I don't know if you've already considered this (or someone else may have said the same in the comments), but it would be amazing if you made a base that was high up with a small base foundation to it that was easier to defend. Kinda like a huge tree house build. That would be incredible to see! 😀 imagine how much easier it would be to replace the damaged stuff when they attacked? Build some heavy protection for the foundation, and then you wouldn't have to worry as much. You could make a stairs for Kelvin to walk up so he was safe. Just some ideas that popped into my head as I was watching. 🙂 Lol that was a fun episode! 👍🏻 I like both locations really, but I think an area with more trees would be easier on you! Lol 😄 But it would be great to see a multiplayer series with a base down by the seaside! I'd love to see that myself! 😀❤️ Ps imagine the build like the LOTRs Lothlorien elves! Just to help with the visual of the stairs winding up to the main part of the base 😊

You walked towards the orcas but forgot the camp further ahead where you get the machete. Had you walked just a bit further, you would have seen the red smoke from that camp.

I can see a few things that need tweaking but its an over all smooth game from the looks of it.. One thing Id suggest for the Devs.. A few extra sayings for the notepad would be useful and maybe an emote addition.. One I would really like to see is.. is "Get in Bitch".. With Kelvin giving a little smile and shake of the head as he waves off the request...,, I mean, it fits...He just barely survived a Helicopter Crash.. Riding around in the woods and crashing again, would be one of the last things he wants to do right now. XP

IDK the area I [pick is the perfect spot. It has everything water, alboe, berries, trees, rocks, birds, deer and two camps near and a bunker. beautiful spot. only bad thing its near a road

Excellent GE!! Nice It is so much different! The loot is set by Default can be changed by using custom in settings. Would have to do it when ya start new game to change idk if can be done after starting/saving. I did a custom one before released but it wasn't in there then. Was in patch notes i believe. Loving it so far! Taking my time really world is lot different now wonder if they will add anything more? Hmmm... Keep it coming your gonna enjoy. I hope your loving it also! Kelvin working fine for me so far but havent built anything major yet. Can't wait for more!~
