Dang Ricky, I had no idea you had a backpacking era! That’s awesome you stepped outside your current comfort zone to go back to that time. This video is what I do with my current travels.. Stay 4-5 days hostels and then “refresh” for 1-2 days at a Park Hyatt or Conrad haha. Best of both worlds! Great video 👍🏾

I love this -- I totally feel you. Used to live at the cheapest hotels but cannot go back to it anymore. I'm surprised you actually stayed and slept at the hostel -- the other person snoring would've made me nope outta there asap!

Haha "worth it series". This reminds me of hostel times backing along the Gold Coast $15 a night! You should share with us the approx retail value of each. I mean with enough friends the St. Regis could be same price as the Inn with unlimited happy hour for all!!

Oh your room assigment in Campbell Inn is Room 6. Same room tht we got on 2019😊. The hostel configuration especially on the ground floor area was changed. Its more cafe like before than what I saw in your video. It becomes more cramp.

I love this content. Even if i can afford luxury hotels. i use to join some Intrepid and G adventures tours wich usually sleep in budget places, After the tours i would book myself in a 5 star resort haha!!!!

St. Regis looks nice, but in Singapore you really should have stayed at the iconic Marina Bay Sands. How many countries have a hotel as a national symbol!

I have to disagree. The MBS hotel is extremely overrated, room is bad and service is too average. Better stay at fullerton Bay Hotel. St regis singapore is good too but the room looks too dated for my liking.

Hell nah. MBS is the MOST OVERRATED OVERCROWDED AND OVERPRICED PIECE OF TRASH THERE IS. and im sporean i cant stand that hotel.

I enjoy from time to time the hostels in SG. I have often layovers there and dont enjoy spending 200$ for the often not even avaiable airport hotel. The good hotels are massivly overcpriced and not even worth my points most of the time. The FS is reasonable and quality, but nor for a layover. So hostels are plentyfull and super fun- even teh crapp ones :D

I stayed at Campbell In last 2 weeks and it was so different with what you get. My room was like dark, mess and smelly bad, idk why, but there were so many indians and Banglades workers who have stayed there for years.. the staff was so kind and the location is perfect, pretty close to MRT Station...

Campbell Inn - $50. St. Regis Singapore retails for $600 and the suite would've retailed for $1,500+.
