Since I personally had a very close look at every barrier (SimRacing) in every corner you showed: very much so! This year I want to beat Estre's 6 minutes and 55. I guess I will have a look at a bunch more barriers.

Great as usual. The comment on the SIM experience is very accurate also. On my first visit many years ago I had done lots of that but it had two major drawbacks: (1) I had no sense of just how much elevation change there really is, and your video does a great job in showing this. (2) The light changes dramatically over the course of a day while sims generally do not account for this. My first early morning lap after having just done afternoons was a bit disorienting as the shadows were all in the wrong places:)

The elevation, and the feelings you get from it, are really lacking in simracing. First time I went through the first section of the track after the first downhill section made the whole thing real, instantly. I wasnt going that fast, but being pressed downward really surprised me !

Felt the same for me last year on my first laps on both of your comments. At Hohe Acht I couldn’t believe how steep it was and for a second wondered whether I took a wrong turn 😂 And on a sunny lap I ended up closing and opening my tinted visor about 10 times a lap. As if it wasn’t enough stressful already 😲 Thanks for the video Micha, very informative indeed 👍🏻

I didnt feel imintidated the first time i got there last summer, maybe because i play "sims" for years so you know the corners? idk. didnt go flat out but i have to say braking is indeed HARD needed because you do not feel i recall do not feel the elevation in sims. I just took it calm never hit the 170 kmph as i can remember on the fast straights. just like you said get known to the track and push yourself slowly every time. My advice is do not think ur the man playing sims or owning a fast car knowing you have control over it. just drive normal, safe and slowly get used to the car and track.

Fantastic vid, important to know why is Hocheichen so slippery when wet, is due to resin beside from the trees, which fall on the track. So when it´s wet, it´s get really slippery !!

some of the elevations and cambers are fully insane and you can tell from adrians shots, and can tell the tv doesnt do them justice, i would so love to come and see in person, i want to camp at the nurburgring it looks beautiful, ile make it one day hopefully, this was a great video for seein stuff you wouldnt normally, thanks misha!

Thats crazy that most interesting videos for me are the walking and talking. Also with another drivers, or showing the ambience of the place. I know that this meant to be onboard channel but when you are driving by yourself its more interesting to hear about some facts or curiosities than just see the steering wheel. So for me, I don't know if anyone with agree, more vlogs and videos about history, ambience or even the restaurants and bars. ;)

Never ever lift. Always keep a touch of throttle even when you need to brake slightly... And if you need to brake there you're overshot yourself. Micha you should hammer more on the fact that the real Nordschleife is not the same as Gran Turismo or any other game. G-forces does not count in your play seat and ini real life you do not have a "restart' button.... I know personally several guys that have experienced cold-steel deformation in a bad way.... From 02:12 on you also have to know there is a lot of tree sap and fallout that becomes very slippery in cold or wet conditions....
