Man, the audacity of you... if people have criticism then let them speak their mind. Criticism doesn't mean people don't love the show, i love it and watched it a billion times yet there is plenty of stuff that annoys me and others. It's fine, that's normal. You may think that loving something means you can't criticize it, others disagree. If there are repetitive elements then why should nobody make a remark? Is free content immune to criticism? Immune to improve through constructive criticism? If you think that, you havn't paid much attention to what Les is saying in his shows... you always WILL LEARN SOMETHING NEW and IMPROVE, no matter how good you think you are. Same goes here. Chill out and accept that not everybody is you and thinks like you. PEACE OUT

@@prince-solomon lmfao. If you're criticizing a directors commentary for too much side talk then you're an idiot. There's a difference between criticizing and whining. I love the criticism comments, not the whining and complaining comments. Either way it helps the algorithm and gets my man Les more views.

He's teased and said that if he hits one million subs, he'll do some more Survivorman. I don't know whether that means a single episode or a whole new season. I've kind of liked having a new batch come out every once and while. The first three season are super nostalgic for me. Growing up, when I first got an iPod, back before they were even touch, I had Survivorman and Mythbusters that I would alternate to while I went to sleep at night. I bet I've watched the first three seasons 20 times. Then there was the 10-Day episodes, the 5-day episodes, the legends episodes, the ones with his son, and the Bigfoot ones.

Hey Les, been watchin since I was 14, 34 now. And I've always wondered, have u ever considered going deep into the Wyoming wilderness (near Yellowstone or in that area) and trying your hand at survival there? It's very tough terrain, thick foliage and the wildlife here is either very docile or very dangerous.

I always thought about that, what would it be like to go to Yellow stone and live a week off the trails.
@SoundShinobiYuki
@SoundShinobiYuki 2 жыл бұрын
@@David_Quinn_Photography I forget the name but there was (in recent decades, not the 1800's) a fugitive who did that. He stole equipment and food from nearby campsites to build himself a shelter and hunt/fish for food and managed to live undetected in the park for over a year. When they finally caught him and brought him in he looked like an old-fashioned mountain man. There was also Christopher Thomas Knight who did similar in Maine, he pitched a campsite in a secluded area and borrowed canoes at night from nearby campsites to steal supplies he couldn't make/craft himself. To avoid being found he didn't build wood campfires, though- he would usually steal propance cylinders to use a stove. But he managed to live out there for over 20 years before he was caught.

It's so great having you on here. I go to you, daily. Thank you for talking to us like we are not stupid, you constantly stick up for us and call out the nonsense of other television shows. I appreciate that, some shows even put little weird sound effects every second, to indicate someone's emotions. Once you notice it, it gets super, super, annoying to watch anything with it in it. I'm sure you've heard them, they sound like a kids cartoon at times. It's pathetic. edit: watched Never Cry Wolf last night. i really liked it. very good movie.

Les- My cousin and I are/were huge fans (I still am) - but inspired by one of your shows, my cousin went on a solo trip with nothing but an axe, feral rod, emergency blanket and 20' of para-cord and unfortunately got caught in a flash flood that caused him to evacuate quickly causing him to break his ankle and fall on a moss covered unstable rock and hitting his head (blunt force trauma - his cause of death). My Aunt and Uncle are still paying for the life-flight/funeral/medical bills to this day. Although he passed, he did so doing what he loved which was bein an outdoorsman in mother nature. Respect mother nature as she is as deadly as she is beautiful and she hath no fury. /edit: he also recorded everything leading up to the evacuation just as you did with no help from a camera crew etc, very inspired!

The Steyhr Scout is a similar rifle that stores bullets in the buttstock as designed, and even has a button to dispense one at a time and it's a bolt action so you can open the bolt to reload quick.
