The flesh monsters gain higher resistance depending on the state of the infection. Reaching 100% damage resistance in the final stage: Epikulmination, rendering them immune to damage. However, if the flesh monster is on fire it removes all damage resistance and they take 2x damage. Also, the flesh brutes absorb damage other nearby flesh creatures take Looks like the flesh brute's weird damage properties let you damage the while in the final stage Also, take a look at the clay bombs/grenades, they set fire to an area

You should play the “From Another World” mod! It is a really cool parasite mod where the infection is fair so it is not too hard but still poses a decent challenge!

I wonder, since fire seems to be one of the only things that destroys it, if you could build a lava floor underneath your house (so they don't get you from below cause they seem to be able to spread underneath the ground), and have like cascading lava falls around your home too. You'll just need to make sure your house has everything you'll need to survive cause soon everything will spread and there will be no food or water source 😭 be like noah and grab two of every animal lolll Also does the infection spread on water? Cause if it doesn't, then maybe you can make a lava fortress island??? (Like at 34:56 theres a nice piece of land you could start off with) Idk I'm throwing all ideas out there in case anything helps 😭

it doesn't seem like the flesh can cross rivers so i would normally say to try building artificial islands either in the water on as sky islands, but since it can apparently teleport that's probably not a good idea. you can try building houses on small islands in water though since it seems like the flesh only spreads on natural ground

Can you make like, a Flamethrower? With that Gun mod, since the monsters are immune to damage but on fire they take double damage, a Flamethrower would really work well
