People pay extra for energy drinks with added taurine. Taurine isn’t an essential amino acid for humans, but it’s essential for cats… so pretty much everything sold as cat food has taurine added, just in case. Energy drinks usually have caffeine, which is not recommended for cats, so don’t give any to your cat. I did back-of-the-envelope calculations on Red Bull a while back, and if I didn’t mess up, a can of Red Bull has about a month’s bare-minimum supply of taurine for a house cat - but a dangerous dose of caffeine.

Ken, you could dice up a can of that mystery meat and put it into the mystery noodles bowl. It might have been more palatable. Or it might destroy the whole dish, but if you're hungry, you wouldn't care! Another hint with ramen/over-processed noodles (think Campbell's chicken noodle soup) is to add a spoonful of chicken bouilion powder or a cube. Lotsa salt but at the least some flavor to get the poor person's food down.
