Thai prison is one of the most brutal places to be held as a prisoner. There is no reforming or lawyers who will help you, and you will rot behind bars in Thailand for committing a silly crime you didn't even know was happening. In today's video we're going to show you exactly why you wouldn't survive Thai prison, and next time you travel, know when to call it quits, instead of trying some seedy job that you will surely get busted for.

If you ever go to anywhere in Thailand that has a night life like the red light districts. Two things: never make a ruckus or cause trouble. Cops will take the opportunity to plant drugs. Also always wear the backpack or bag in the front so people can't put or take things from you. Foreigners are an easy target

I was in Soi Cowboy about 5 years ago having a beer outside a bar. I was approached by 4 police one of whom seemed quite senior. This was odd and not at all welcome. The senior guy sat down and began making conversation, how was I? did I enjoy Thailand and had I experience any problems in the bars that kind of thing. I politely answered his questions (luckily I was fairly sober at this point) and he seemed very pleased. Then he asked for a photo so I stood there somewhat bewildered and shook his hand whilst his men took photos. They all seemed very pleased with this and wandered off In high spirits. Surreal. I can only assume they had been getting bad press and were keen to show how well they interact with the farrang.

"Citizens who break the written law are hauled before judges, inquisitorially cross-examined, and chained for long years in State dungeons: but the statesmen and legislators may sell their country for gold, and break every statute law and constitution in the land without the least fear of legal intimidation. Indeed the approbation of the State, is all-sufficient nowadays to sanctify any crime - even the most abominable. In this particular (of granting absolution) the State is gradually supplanting and absorbing the Church. " - Ragnar Redbeard The state is the last bastion of evil. @@wichanee932 While I can relent that life exhibits beauty through fluctuations of yin/yang, dark/light, chaos/order. I cannot ignore the vast amount of suffering that is experienced through a large part of the growing process. Violence is present everywhere down to the smallest microbe ,and the magnitude in which such violence can be experienced is absolutely overwhelming. Then when I think about beings around the entire universe being subject to this kind of pain I cannot help but lament. I cannot help but hope for some place better, and most people throughout history would agree as one of the key foundations of nearly every religion is liberation from this existence. You may have found a compromise within yourself to help you address this but many do not share that sentiment at least not without consideration of life's more negative attributes.

I can confirm that Thai prisons are all actually like this 100% accuracy. My dad had been there about 3 months ( chiangmai's prison) he said it was normal seeing ppl died inside the jail and guards seemed nothing to care about that. He told me that one guy in jail offered him a spider tattoo by the ordinary needle we used in fabric and black ink from pen or smth(?) nothings clean there things seemed to get a lot worse than it should. When he was out of the jail after months he promised to surely not get back there again.
