Aye Helsinki does a fairly good job of it's cyclepaths etc, you can get around most of the city without having to ride on the road 🚴 Of course it helps that so much of the city is forested! 🌲

Yah they have their advantages and disadvantages! For me, the advantage is that I gain confidence and probably ride more securely, the disadvantage is that I don't like the limited visibility. So I tend to just wear a full face in the bike park and a trail lid everywhere else!

First video I've seen of riding where the bikes folk are on here made sense. I see a lot of people on fancy kit when im out with the dog and it makes no sense because its so flat around here. Especially after living 15 minutes drive from the likes of Innerleithen/Glentress and being a a short ride from the Pentlands which I've ridden more on shitty hardtails than bikes that are actually suitable for them 😂. Looks fun and if I didnt rely on my hands for a living it would definitely be putting me in the mood to go out exploring.

Yeah there's a popular saying "All the gear but no idea" - applies to biking quite often too! I used to live in Edinburgh and ride those places a lot, especially Bonaly in the Pentlands almost every evening! 🤘

Its right between/next to Länsi-Herttoniemi and Viikinmäki. @@SamStanf Roughly 350m South-West from where you started filming at Pirunkallio is a massive rock-roller. It's extremely steep and roughly halfway in, there's a sizable root you gotta clear

🤩@@SamStanf it's quite the process, isn't it? The first videos take forever. Then you find a groove. Then each video gets a bit better. Than you don't feel like editing anymore. And everytime you go to make a new edit you have that crushing feeling with all that overwhelming amount of footage. So kudos for keeping on chipping away at it!
