I can't imagine having to beat up my friend. I understand, I guess, that he had to. That sucks, though! He says he wasn't beat up bad, but it takes 3 wks to heal! That's one thing I wish prisons were better about. Besides (in my opinion) sentences being too long, if one has a release date, why are the prisons not starting,or even implementing transition programs ? Get guys back up to speed on living free, getting them IDs and jobs before being released, letting them slowly integrate over a longer period... It's worth it. People always talk about the "cost to keep someone locked up" but never factor in how much each inmate actually MAKES the state money thru slave labor essentially

Beside the content, Chad, your story speaks volumes about the person you are, who you have always been. Too often people only see "what we have done" and who we were, not who we are now. I do have a question about the federal system.. I understand (please correct any misunderstandings) that the USP's are the higher level facilities. Are the fci,and camps under the same type of structure? As in gangs, puttin in work etc ? Are there differences in the structure, same, or same but scaled down etc ..
