You probably curse a dry track but a dry track is better as you can use the outside line where a damp track locks you down to the inside groove. Not only that, dust can be blown off with air, mud not so much. Even a slower kart can be made to handle on a dry track where on a wet (damp) track the karts are locked down to the track and usually the first into the inside of the first turn is the winner, with everyone else relegated to 2nd, 3rd, etc. To me a dry track makes for better competition and sliding a kart is just plain fun! Just my thoughts, thanks for the video and good luck in your racing.

I actually like a dry track for all the reasons that you mentioned. I've won a lot of races on dry tracks that everyone else couldn't get a handle on. The track wasn't the issue, it was my setup. I couldn't get back in the gas like I wanted to and was having to wait until after the apex of the turn before I could give it any kind of throttle. I won the last 3 races I entered at this track before this race, I just missed the set up on this one. We will be back out there this weekend and give it another shot! In the heat race the track looked really dry...and since when have they been using the scales now?

It was so hot and dry! They did the best they could I guess. The track was pretty nice for the feature. Weighing out was something that they did for some reason, first time for everything I guess! 😂
