I think this is the closest "classic season" we had in years. No (real) idol and advantages plays, win being a result of a strong social game. Yet it was chaotic and I loved it. And fun fact: none of the final 5 players ever had an idol for the first time since... Guatemala, first season with idols

We've seen enough of her social game. I think you're looking for strategy when there wasn't much. Some people win over the more strategic player. Kenzie is one of them. That's it.

I mean she literally held Ben’s hand and stayed up with him at night when he had panic attacks while everyone else slept and seemingly didn’t bother to comfort him. She acted like everyone’s best friend and made them feel comfortable. Remember Bahnu saying she was a “mermaid dragon”

So do u prefer gamebotty and predictable gameplay with an alliance steamrolling like the past four seasons? Bad and messy gameplay is great tv and is one of the key parts in making this season so great

@@carsoncarson5835 I made it one it would’ve got played. Somebody would’ve gone home from the majority at some point that would’ve been a majority alliance being broken up. Oh, I’m saying is that I had an idol at the merge I’m playing it especially if I just found and had been on the bottom! So if I played, I would trust nobody you can only trust yourself!

In hindsight if a player in future seasons played an idol immediately when the merge begins, yall would just complain abt how stupid they wasted their idol

I’ve heard people compare this season to Survivor Gabon in terms of chaos. But I disagree. Gabon is one of a kind IMO. 46 is its own brand of chaotic.

46 is an solid season that has some of the worst and best stretch's of episodes in the show's history but it's at least the most standout season of the new era and time will tell whether it gets better or worse in the years to come

The beginning was absolutely a drag, but it definitely got better once they got close to the merge, and after that. I still think though that Charlie deserved the win more than Kenzie though, mainly because it felt like she just skated on by through tribals, same with Ben, but I’m still glad at how that later half of the season went.

This season was a hot mess in the pre merge part but the post merge part was pretty chaotic it would’ve been super cool if the jury votes were tied 4-4 and Ben would be the tiebreaker I would’ve loved to see who he would’ve gave the million dollar vote to but nevertheless it’s in my top 5 for the new era

You could argue the point of immunity is to help those on the bottom, and this is just another way for the majority to monopolise the game at the merge. I personally think it sets a precident of hipocrisy considering South Pacific but it is a debatable topic

You forgot the real ending to the season, which was Jelinsky beating Bhanu and Q in the Edge of Extinction and making a large fire in fire making, and finally winning FTC in a several to one vote, with Jelinsky announcing that he'll be in Survivor 50, alongside Bhanu, Coach, Russell Hantz, Debbie, Vince the coconut vendor, J'Tia, Na'Onka, Hannah with her vape pen, Brandon and Phillip as part of the cast.

I'd love to see him try again at Survivor if he's physically able to. I felt like he was the MOST robbed out of all of the contestants.
