How do you fast with no peace and quiet in your home, i have 4 children of all ages with the youngest being 1. I keep setting up to fast for the Lord, then find myself not being able to continue it turns void the moment inhave to scream at my children. I feel so defeated at that time, even though i have let everything go for God at once im struggling with fasting. I feel halfway with my Lord, and i don't want it to be held against me. Please pray for me because I want to fast for the Lord for 6 months soon. I am ok with going without food for so long although I'll be doing all liquids at a certain time. Need prayer for strength, peace, a heart on fire, patience, anything that'll keep me going.

Hey girl, hope you are good, unless God had lead you to a 6months fast, then that is quite long considering the situation you mentioned. God doesn’t require certain sacrifices like torture, not to say not to fast, but he requires a humble heart , read Isaiah 66 … but yeh be safe for yourself and the children, so that you can be a good mother to them while you are training them up. God loves you and even sees your heart.

Hello I just wanted to say just do what you can as far as fasting as you have a family. If you have trusted relatives that you can drop your kids off to, do that if you want to really fast. I don’t think the answer is to fast for 6 months unless they are half a day only. For now if you’re able to just start small like maybe fast until 2pm or 3pm for a few days and try to dedicate that time to the Lord. I know and the Lord knows you need your energy to take care of your family. God bless you and your family, don’t be afraid to ask the Lord what to do as well. He will answer you, once you finished praying just sit back and listen to what He has to say regarding your prayer.

I really want to fast, but not sure how, I also want to see if there spiritual attacks or control or oppression on my wife, she gets angry very easily over little2 thing. I really kind having frustration, our family like a roller coaster, please pray for joy and peace in her heart and in the family. Just wanna say, this woman is a witch! I felt alot of anxiety hearing what she was saying and although only a small percent of what she says is true its bundles in a box of deceit!!!
