Not really. You can hear where the quality changes when the End credits version kicks in over the opening montage. Still the best version of this song though.

The eye of the tiger is being in the heat of a fight. With any given person who threatens you and your own someone trying to take anything from you and you having to stand up for yourself like a tiger you have to be fierce n put up a real good strong fight to earn respect it's the eye of the tiger to understand you are capable for fighting to your death it's called being a survivor and having gutts I know if I was threatened me or my daughter I'd fight tooth n nail n I would win it's the fight and heart and fight in a person that would get ya through

This is not the true, FULL, demo version of the song. You still hear tons of the m ovie background then the song is clipped with the cd version of the song. The REAL demo version (used in the movie - it is slightly faster, heavier, better, and has the tiger growls) is available on youtube. Just look it up under Survivor eye of the tiger demo. That is the true version, and has been on youtube since 2014

@skiswek stallone was a fan of the band and personally contacted survivor's management that he wanted a song for his upcoming movie rocky 2, this happened again in rocky 3. this time its Burnin' heart,( he told the band not to follow tiger cause it ain't gonna happen), stallone himself was involved in the mixing of burning heart, and that wham thing in the chorus was his idea.

Yeah its the Rocky I version of Gonna Fly Now too on the Rocky III album. In III its the good version with kids singing at the end of the song. I dont know why they do this? In the Rocky IV movie the vince Dicola tracks are much better than the inferior versions on the album and as for The Sweetest Victory...Where the f was that in the film???

That's a commonly made mistake about this song. It was actually written in response to a request by Sylvester Stallone to Survivor for Rocky 3, he originally was gonna use "Another One Bites The Dust" but Queen declined. I think we can all agree everyone involved made the right choice cause this song is practically a piece of true American culture!
